Yet another tech question

Coby kyros 7024 android 2.2 tablet, 1 ghz processor, 512 mb ram with a total of 12 gigs storage. Why can't i make this device play movie's where the audio is synced to the video? Is there a file ext. that works best? Is it a frame rate issue? Am I just useless? If you find the answer to be the latter I'm willing to learn. thanks

Whats the source of these videos? What was used to convert? What codec, resolution, and bitrate are they in? Do they play in sync on a pc?

Is there a file ext. that works best?

The extension doesnt matter, its the codec, and you should use h264 baseline codec.

Way over my head, but I feel you are going in a direction I can follow. I should have mentioned I have an iphone and itunes is my friend beecause I don't need to know what you're talking about because steve jobs took care of all the technical stuff for me. I guess I should ask what program do I need to convert files for android devices.

Handbrake is the easiest, its free and will automatically convert to h264 for you. Search around here, there are a few guides to show you how to use it.
