Help You Tube Dark Mode Theme

On my laptop computer, Windows 10, I can activate the dark theme for youtube by merely clicking on my account icon, and the subsequent drop down has the option to select the dark theme.

Now, on my work computer, desktop, windows 10, when I click on my account icon in youtube, it does not give me that option to have dark mode.
What am I missing???

Well , finally after a couple months of half-assed searching, I found my answer.

I needed to switch to the new youtube thingamajig:
https://productforums.google.com/fo...picsearchin/youtube/you$20tube$20dark$20theme

which has the link to this:

https://www.youtube.com/testtube
