Assuming the veracity of her story, I am thinking this teacher needs a little schooling herself.

One...you don't take compromising pictures of yourself.

Two...you don't leave your phone just laying around, even where you think it's "safe."

Three...you ALWAYS have a passcode on your phone.

I mean I don't even teach technology, and I know those things!!

It's easy to be judgemental after-the-fact but there's undoubtedly a lot that didn't get covered by the news media. There always is with stories like this one. In this case she made some mistakes that in another setting would be mostly meaningless, and now her career has been side-tracked or even halted. But becoming a teacher isn't a trivial endeavor in any way and it involves responsibilities most of us will never have to worry about. For those of you who actually are perfect and faultless, I applaud you.
