Your current experience with Google Market & Behold 2?

I'm considering to buy my first Android phone and due to reasonable price Behold 2 seems to be a good choice.

On the other hand I'm a bit concerned about Android 1.6 version... Will I be able to find enough additional apps to use on my phone? Or is 1.6 so out of date that hardly anything will work on it?

I just tried Angry Birds Seasons and it's unusable due to slow speed. Works fine on Motorola Rely.
