your impressions of fring

So far it seems solid to me but it does seem like there is a delay when calling or receiving calls via Skype on the Droid. It seems like there might be a delay when receiving messages on Skype as well. Hows it perform on other android phones?

Hi

T-Mobile Pulse user in the UK. Here's my list of problems/good things with version 1.0.1, specific to Skype (I have no gtalk contacts )

Good:
Select a contact, and then you get to choose whether to use skype out or call as per normal.
Logs in at start up, and is ready to go.

Bad:
Call delay
Call quality
Unable to sort contacts
Can't change sounds (very annoying when you have multiple skype chats going)
Doesn't sign in over 3G, nor stay signed in, let only 2G. I believe this is my phone though.
Messages received on skype have the wrong timestamp (when the phone received it, not when it was sent)

I'd love to know what it's like on other Android phones as well.

Theres a few things I don't like...like not being able to sort contacts...but the thing I LOVE is that so far its the only IM client that let's my hero go to sleep fully and stay logged in! Finally.
