Help YouTube app not working

Hi everybody, the YouTube app is no longer playing /loading videos works on other phones. I tried clearing the cache and clearing data. Also tried an uninstall /reinstall. I even tried going back to the version that came with the phone and still no luck. Any ideas, any other things I could try?.

Does it throw any sort of error, or does it just fail to load the video?

Have you tried it on multiple Wifi and mobile networks (if possible)?

Uninstalled updates (again for a second time). Updated the app (again) , and this time the videos started playing. Hopefully this won't happen again, nor do I know why it happened in the first place. Thank you for the help nonetheless,
