Youtube app problem

I have a wildfire 2.2.1 and for a couple of months when i want to play a video it shows up: "There was a problem while playing. Touch to try again"...
And i think i know the SOLUTION: disable HD playback. I just used Dolphin Browser to go to the mobile site of Youtube, same error, until i clicked to disable HD, then IT WORKED.

Now... how do i disable HD on youtube app 2.1.6 ?
a solution would be to uninstall this update, right ? (worked until update)

Just tap the "HQ" button at the top right once a video starts playing.

You cant just uninstall an update.
