YouTube: can I set a default video quality?

Hi all. Is it possible to set the YouTube app to play videos at their highest quality by default? I have a very fast data connection, but videos almost always start in very low resolutions like 144p and such.

Let me guess - you use GSM connection (no wi-fi), right?
there is an option "Save traffic" in adjustments - turn off and you will have happiness.
