Not sure if there's any movement on this but since we've changed from linking the URL to now having to manually put in links, is it possible to have YouTube tags added to advanced posts? This would be much like all the other options we have like photos, hides, quotes.

In the URL for the video just grab the part between v= and the & and enclose it in youtube tags, see below

You'd still have to pick out the right text from the URL and copy it in, but it would save a little time.

The problem is - we used to just allow full YouTube links. But too many kept putting in extra stuff, like embedded player clauses, and those broke pages right and left, so we stopped parsing those as embedded.
