YouTube issues

I know this is an Android forum and most of yall are probably not experts at maintaining a YouTube channel with some videos, but every now and then I add a random video online.

I'm trying to upload a slideshow of pictures that is about 1 minute 30 seconds long. It's video file is .wmv It was made by windows movie maker. According to my research, YouTube does accept .wmv files.

The first time I attempted this it said "Failed, cannot convert file type" or something like that. So I just deleted and decided to try again thinking it may've been a glitch or something since my file was a .wmv file

Second attempt and it says upload complete and lalala but I can't find it now... It's not on my channel, it's not under my videos or whatever.

Can anyone help with this?

I can't help you find the file on YouTube but there is a good converter I can recommend called Format Factory. It converts video, audio, images, etc to multiple file types. Convert your .wmv to any of 10 other video file types for proper uploading. Output files are customizable (change size, audio properties, etc). All this in a simple to use GUI! Oh wait, and it's free too!

And your second attempt probably failed again even though you got the upload complete message. That's why you can't find it in your file space. I've had a few issues with YouTube now and again, but I'm not a big user either (just 33 videos)
