YouTube not working. Network problem?

I have an HTC Thunderbolt with the unlimited data plan, and today I noticed my YouTube app and in the browser is not working. It works when WiFi is enabled, but even with full 4g connection, it just stalls on the "loading circle". I have used 2.6gb of data so far this month. Maybe vzw is throttling my streaming? Anyone else with this problem on another device?

If you are on LTE VZW can't throttle you. You may want to check in settings on the youtube app to see if you have HQ on mobile networks as on I know it can cause delays in getting a video to play. Are you rooted and running a rom?

I'm rooted and running bamf soab. It won't play with HQ on or off. There are a few others in the thunderbolt subforum who are having the same problem. Might just be the thunderbolt?

It could be. I don't see how it would just affect 1 phone. I haven't had a chance to check on my phone and I can't get in contact with my sister who is using my TB but it could be. Have you tried on 3G only?

No I haven't, but another user has said his works on 3g but not on 4g.

Sorry for dreging up an older issue, but I'm seeing this on two of my phones. My son's Thunderbolt and my Rezound. If I change my network settings to only do CDMA, it works fine. If I'm on LTE, it never loads the videos. Both phones are stock and not rooted at the moment.
