youtube player issue since Froyo 2.2?

There is an issue i am having with the youtube app since my froyo 2.2 install on my HTC Evo. Not only does it randomly drop videos in the youtube app, i does the same thing when i navigate to youtube on the web. also, I tried to connect when on my Wifi at home, and i get the same errors.

Any idea if there is a fix for this? it is really starting to bug me.

The error occurs while loading the video, then it says there was a problem loading the video. Some videos will load, then error out during the vid.

HELP?

I'm flabbergasted by lack of material on this issue, since the update on my HTC Evo, my youtube app AND youtube.com have been having major issues playing the videos, in fact, they barely play ANY.

Most cases an generic error message pops up saying "this video cannot be played" or the like.

I know it's not just me, my friend has the evo and he has the exact same issue.

I wonder if it's an Evo issue as opposed to Android...

Thanks for posting, i was going crazy here thinking i was the only one! I checked with my buddy who has one too, and he said he took it to the sprint store and they simply said to retry loading the same video and it should work fine the 2nd time? wtf, thats not a solution.

This is still a problem, and im not too happy about it
