YouTube is launching its own Streaming TV Service named as YouTube TV in United States.

YouTube TV offers Live TV streaming from more than 40 Live TV channels like ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN, regional sports networks and dozens of popular cable networks.

YouTube TV includes major sports networks like ESPN and regional sports networks like Fox Sports Networks and Comcast SportsNet, so you can watch your favorite NBA or MLB teams. YouTube TV has also partnered with local TV stations, so you’ll also get sports and local news based on where you live.

With YouTube TV, you’ll be able to record live TV and never run out of storage. Your cloud DVR can record as many shows as you want, simultaneously, without using precious data or space on your phone and YouTube TV will store each of your recordings for nine months.

You can watch YouTube TV on any screen—mobile, tablet or computer—and you can easily stream to your TV with a Google Chromecast or Chromecast built-in TV. YouTube TV works on both Android and iOS. And your cloud DVR goes with you, so you can stream your recordings on any device, whenever and wherever you want.

With a YouTube TV membership, you can watch all of our YouTube Red Original series and movies right on the new YouTube TV app.

Every YouTube TV membership comes with six accounts, each with its own unique recommendations and personal DVR with no storage limits. You can watch up to three concurrent streams at a time.

A YouTube TV membership will cost $35 a month and there are no commitments—you can cancel anytime.
 
Wow that sounds awesome, I am wondering when they will launch it in Europe.

For me the sooner the better, I can't wait to watch the NBA games :)

Youtube TV isn't a channel, it is an alternative to cable or over the air TV. I recently signed up after cutting the cord (and realizing MLB.tv is only for out of market games) so I could still watch the Red Sox games.
 
I think the closest you'd come to that would be through Google Fiber, which has seriously limited availability. Even then, it seems to be 'regular' tv offered, not YTTV. So I'd give up on that idea.

@Unforgiven is exactly right (as always). Go Sox!!! Luckily I'm out of market so can watch 'em all.

Yes, it does. So you can't watch with MLB.TV but you'd get NESN, I get YES (stupid Yankees) but don't need it unless the Sox are playing NY, I can't watch NY on MLB.

You do need a Chromecast or Roku or something to get it to your TV.

Yes, it does. So you can't watch with MLB.TV but you'd get NESN, I get YES (stupid Yankees) but don't need it unless the Sox are playing NY, I can't watch NY on MLB.

I went the Roku route (on an Android TV no less) as it just works.
 
I use Roku too, on just a non-smart Samsung TV. Works perfectly except for MLB, that stream just sucks sometimes. They just sent me a survey and I was happy to point that out to them! It's the only service that buffers so it's not me.
 
I have a 3 yr old Samsung Smart TV and it has started to say that its off line. No server etc. When in fact 3 tvs and 2 computers 2 lap tops and 2 tablets and phones AND 2 ECHOS ALL WORK . I gave called Rogers..nope doesn't work. I called Netflix and Amazon...nope ..Samsung...nope!
HELP. SUGGESTIONS???

You're not alone.. if Samsung and the companies stop updating their apps on smart TVs... it breaks...


Chromecast?
