What carrier are you on? It seemed to be fixed by a lot of the recent updates about 2-3 weeks ago. When will this problem get fixed.. 1080p+ was a big part of the reason why I got this phone..... and I'm not trying to root... not yet
Is this a Note 4 thing or just @ YouTube thing?

Good Luck!

My YouTube IS also up to date..I'm on T-Mobile and have the option to go all the way up to 1440p, even on 4g LTE mobile network. It won't let me attach a pic or I would show you. My YouTube app version is 6.0.13 as stated on Google Play
.... Very fast I guess... everything pops up in seconds...What're the symptoms?
What's your network speed?
Yeah. No..... Very fast I guess... everything pops up in seconds...

Please report back both the ping result as well as the download speed.
Maybe I dnt deserve 1080+.... Guess I'll use MY Note 3 until then (And my Note 3 has 1080 option)........ ughScratch that theory, you certainly have the bandwidth with low latency to support anything.
(Removed your second picture for your identity protection btw.)
Not sure how it could be behind but just to cover all the bases, what's your Google Play Services version?
Main settings, Apps, All, Google Play services - you should be at 6.5 or better.
Maybe I need to do a master reset??? 80×Yep, that's what I have.
Sorry - I got nothing then.![]()
I'm always a fan of that when things get screwy.Maybe I need to do a master reset??? 80×
Thanks... If you dnt help me one way you're gonna make sure you help me some way huh..... I appreciate thisI'm always a fan of that when things get screwy.
For a good backup if you're not rooted, check out Helium Backup - backup, reset, restore.
Exactly.... except... I dnt have 1080+ anywhere.. YouTube app, normal browser, opera browser, dolphin browser.. any browser...... even movies tht I dwnload look like 720-... only when I play movies on "HULU" it looks the sharpest, but it's still not 1080+I'm experiencing this same issue too on AT&T with my Note 4. It's a very common issue as reported on other forums and I suspect more people have it than don't. 720p max no matter if you stand on your head and spit nickels. This won't be fixed until a general update addresses this.
My wifi speeds are 120mbps down and about 40 up, so like many other people, speed is not the issue. I can access 1080p and better via web browser access to YouTube, but as others have reported, motion is not smooth at those resolutions.
Really too bad to have such a great screen and be limited by the YouTube app to 720p.
