Yz (yahtzee)

I had some free time to kill over my holiday break, so I wrote a small little game to kill boredom. It's a simple yahtzee implementation.

Having not known there was already one, I just decided to go for it. Took about 12 hours, but it was fun.

It's called Yz, and you can get it on the market. Games -> Casual ;)

Great job...nice work. Pat on the back from all of us. What will your next 12 hour project bring us? I'm watching.

Networked Battleship? Ambitious!

If you thinking of existing games that aren't yet out there....a risk clone with AI or networked.

Less popular, but very addictive Settlers.

Androidopoly
Scrabbloid
Boggloid

That should keep you busy for what 12 hours x 5 ideas....

Again, nice work (and blog).

Contemplating it. It's probably what I'll end up doing next.

To be honest, I've never played risk. or Settlers.

Monopoly I've thought about, a bit more in depth than I'd like for my 12-hour things.

Scrabble is a possibility, as is boggle.

Thanks :) And thank you for the suggestions. :D

Very good app. Mind if I make a few suggestions for this and future dice games you may produce?

Make use of the accelerometer (with the ability to turn off the setting via menu options) for rolling the dice. Kinda like those dice games for the iPhone. Just shake it.

Yes, it's trivial, but it'd go a long way :)

Quite a few people have asked me to add that. In the next update, I'll be adding shake-to-roll, and a left column subtotal. :)
