Zagg application?

How easy is it to apply a zagg screen protector on a tablet?

Normally I would just have the people at bestbuy do it so I don't screw up a 20$ scree protector.. but, since they don't sell it.. I'm forced to do it myself..

I am just wondering if anyone here has any experience applying them? I've applied the regular "peel and stick" screen protectors.. gotten somewhat good at it.. (out of practice now)..

But, I really like the way the zagg feels on my girlfriends phone.. Can't say why.. but, it almost feels less plasticy than mine..
 
They are very easy to apply. It is just like applying sign vinyl to glass. You use their solution to inhibit the stickiness of the glue. You then place the protector on your screen and position it how you want it. The, using the included squeegee, push the solution and air bubbles out from under the screen protector. Any bubbles that may be left can easily be removed within the first few minutes with the squeegee. After that, using the device slowly pushes the air out from under the protector. As always, make sure your screen is clean before applying the protector. Hope this helps.

sounds like it is easier than the "stick on" phone kind I use.
 
Its not terribly hard but I would say its a different process than installing on a phone. You have to be generous with the liquid so that you can move the shield around and get it positioned right. Squeegee from the middle out.

I was in a Best Buys today and watched someone put a Zagg on an Iphone. He soaked it with the spray, even on the surface of the touchscreen. He got it so wet, then when he applied the protector, he could easily slide it around until he got it lined up correctly. Squirting all that liquid on the phone, wasn't something that I think I would want to do to my phone, but it worked for him.
 
I spent a week looking at different solutions for getting a new screen protector to replace the orginal that I got with my Samsung Exhibit 2 a couple of months ago. After watching and reading opinions of the most popular Zagg protectors, and trying a phone that had one on it ( didn't like the sticky feel of it). Then when I went to the local Ghost Armor Kiosk in the mall and found out they were out of business. I decided to get the T-Mobile Samsung protector which is made for the phone. Feels like glass, easy to install and while it doesn't have a lifetime guarantee, it looks great and at about $8 a piece, is cheap enough to replace every 3-4 months or as needed with a brand new one. In addition, I don't have to soak my phone, and it's a snap to install.

I have a Zagg Invisible Shield on my 10 month old Atrix 4G and the application was easy. I have not had to replace it and the edges are not pealing. (Although I do have an Outterbox Commuter Case as well.) I have a few scratches on the shield, only visiable when the screen is off. Well worth the money. (I've had 3 phones with this application.)
 
Installing the wet protectors is easy. Wash your hands well and keep the tips wet. Be patient and leave your tablet off overnight while it dries out. XO Skins is the best protector imo, they don't have orange peel like others. You shouldn't need a store to install whichever one you get. There are also a TUN of videos online of people installing, you should have no issues.
