Help ZE Light Unlocking Pattern Forgot

I have a ZTE Light Tablet PC running on Android 2.2 My kid had changed the unlocking pattern and I have tried million patterns, but it is not unlocking. Further, I am not able to reset the unit and flash with the same OS again. My questions are

1. Is there any way to unlock the unit
2. How to format the unit and reload the existing unit
3. Where in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, you have a service center to resolve the issue.

You need to get into Recovery (backup mini OS)
Try holding volume down button at boot
Once you get in, select Factory Reset or something similar

How to do Factory Rest, when I press vol up/down keys I get a message as FTM. Thanks for the help
