Zenonia Offline Play

Greetings all. I'm pretty new to smart phones and bought a GalaxyS recently. I'm in the Navy and thought that to combat boredom underway nothing would be better than an RPG. That's why I downloaded Zenonia. During my last trip out to sea I was unable to play Zenonia because it seems to require me to call out to gamevil's liscencing servers to let me in. There goes the five bucks I spent. The reason I bought the game was so that I could use it specifically when I cannot connect.

I understand Gamevil wanting to verify that those who've paid for the game play it but I really have no interest in playing the game when I'm on shore. I'm sure android game players who fly a lot would have a similar issue.

Is there anything I can resort to? I did not see anything in the marketplace description hinting that I would be required to authenticate to play the game.

Woah, that is news to me, they must have added that with one of the last updates.
I just tried it myself and was also surpirised to see ad banners in the full version.

But there is something you can do, to play it offline, the licensing check doesn't happen every time you start the game, so you just need to get online once before you travel to get a license for the next few days. I don't know how Gamevil has set it to, I would guess the license stays a week, that's the most common setting.

I have run into the same issue as i am in the Navy as well, didn't have a problem until we went on an underway. I shot Gamevil an email through their website and see what they have to say.

I am hoping there is way to allow or an update to allow the game to run in airplane mode and not have to search for a license. Granted when i am back on land i always have my cell service on so licensing is not an issue it is just when out to sea i keep the phone in airplane mode the whole time.
