ZTE Axon Elite not charging while plugged in

Hello,

I got my Axon Elite about a month ago now last night the battery had gone completely empty, so I plugged it into my laptop as I do every night, but it's not charging. Every four or five seconds it vibrates and shows a screen saying Battery empty, plug in charger for a few minutes, then power on. When it's not connected this screen doesn't appear, so the cable does connect properly.

I tried different USB ports on my laptop but that makes no difference. I read some posts here on the forum about a similar issue with a HTC, and there tips were given to remove the battery or put something behind the battery to force the connection better, but that is not possible with this phone. I can't find the wall plug so haven't been able to try that yet, but I hope someone has something else I can try.

Try to find the wall plug, they tend to charge faster than a laptop (or at least my laptop). If it's fully discharged it may take a while to register that it's even charging.

thanks. didn't have much time to search for it today, but this afternoon it suddenly started charging again, so problem seems to be solved for now
