Help ZTE Blade Vec 4G - Touch Screen issue

Hi guys,
I just got my ZTE Blade Vec 4G (http://www.gsmarena.com/zte_blade_vec_4g-6645.php)
and it is a really great upgrade after having a BLU phone.

The only and main problem is that its touch screen does not recognize correctly
if I'm about to scroll or tap,
Many times when scrolling, the phone think i'm tapping the icons and opens them up.
This is really annoying and I can't find a way to solve this.

Couldn't find anything at the Settings.

I need help

I'm not familiar with that brand name at all.
In our local stores here, Walmarts, Best Buy, not a single one of those on display.

^ZTE are a pretty well known manufacturer of budget handsets.

Is your screen greasy/dirty? Might be worth giving it a clean. My handset does similar things when the screen is dirty and wiping it down normally solves it. Also change the screen protector?

If it still misbehaves after that, it could point to a hardware issue in which case you'd need to contact ZTE.

It actually have a tempered screen protector which I suspect causing this issue...

I have personally never used any screen protectors. so far, knock on wood, have never damaged a screen with using smart phones now over 4+ years.

I have two screen protectors for my S5s, but they are on the shelf.
