zte flash not power on

my sprint zte flash n9500 will not power on,when i try to power it on the red light just stays on..
 
I had a similar problem with my Force. The phone died in the middle off a phone call. When I plugged it up to charge it and turn it back on I got a steady red light, phone wouldn't turn on. I removed the battery for about 5 mins then put it back in. I allowed the phone to then charge for 10 solid mins before attempting to turn the phone back on. The phone turned right on after that.
