ZTE is looking into creating a stock Android smartphone

ZTE has created a new poll on its forums which ask users why they want a stock Android experience. This is an effort to provide an affordable smartphone while offering a near-stock Android experience without all the extra bloatware that is found on other devices.

This sounds great. Certainly be nice if something came of it, but it is not all about being pure android. ZTE need to push security updates and OS updates; as pure android is not enough on its own.

Anyone know what ZTE are like with feeding updates to their devices? I'm guessing pretty bad considering their apparent marketing strategy.
