ZTE N762 and FoxFi app

Hi everyone, new to the forum quick question,

I recently heard of the app FoxFi, Im heading out on a trip soon that charges way too much for wifi in the hotel I'm running on Gingerbread (2.3.5) with a ZTE N762 phone. I did a test run on the app here at home and the problem im facing is that i cant access certain websites such as tumblr, forum sites, netflix. Any other websites work perfectly fine (like facebook, youtube etc)
is there anything I can do about this problem?

my phone plan has unlimited data

Havent tried Netflix with mine, but I've never had any issue with accessing certain websites.

are you able to use tumblr or any forum sites on your laptop with FoxFi?



Today I got my phone flashed because i was having problems but before getting my phone flashed I tried accessing the few listed websites and then came home to try it again, still no dice.

Several forum sites (here, Harmony Central, Sherdog, and a couple small ones), tumblr seems to load fine, though it's a bit slow (I've got 1 bar in my basement right now, so I'm attributing that to the signal rather than FoxFi).
