Help zte N817 rooting

Hey guys I have a zte N817 on q link wireless life line. I want to find a way to get this phone rooted, there's some thing I want to get rid of on this phone and I'm unable too. Also the APN setting is missing . any help is appreciated

I was able to Root the ZTE N817 from Qlink Wireless, after using abd command line on Windows 10 with the correct drivers and adb shell installed, the command executed successfully and was able to achieve persistent root on the ZTE N817 after updating the google security patch even!

using terminal or adb shell issue the following command:

reboot disemmcwp

then proceed to root using kingroot (worked for me)
I will be testing out Kingoroot as well after doing a full unroot and factory reset
I will get back to you on this and possibly some custom roms and tweaks.

Your APN settings? there should be a folder on your internal memory called apn, if its missing or the file inside has changed i can get you a copy cheers!

I have been looking for the apn settings myself. I checked my apn folder and it says it has no program top open the file. Is really appreciate the info. Thanks!
