I have a zte warp n860 z, it has a gingerbread os and I wanna upgrade to jelly bean , can I do this if so then how ? boost mobile is carrier

Hi Ethan,

If there is no official JB update you could try rooting the phone and installing a custom JellyBean ROM. I've checked and these do exist for the Boost n860. This is of course invalidate your warranty, though if you can return it to stock software if you need to use the warranty you should be OK.

It's important to understand what you are doing before trying this. You'll find information about rooting the warp and installing custom ROMs in (Boost Mobile) Warp - All Things Root - Android Forums. I'd start with the All Things Root Guide sticky post, which collects some useful information together. If there is anything you are unsure about, just ask in that forum (registration required) and they'll be able to help you out.

Good luck :)
