Help zte racer unlocked how to make it recognize O2 sim

I purchased a ZTE Racer on PAYG from 3 mobile on Xmas and decided to use my o2 old number and plan that I kept.

But today I got the phone unlocked and then put my o2 sim in and it's not recognizing my O2 number and even allowed me to get my voicemail number.

On the settings<<aboutphone<<status<<myphone says unknown and for <<network also . I got the unlimited wifi with O2 and I'm afraid that is not gonna work on the street with O2 clouds.

Please can someone help me with that?

how old is the sim card ?
can you use it in another phone ?
maybe the sim card is deactivated. ( maybe )

Thanks , but my sim card is working on the new phone, it's just crashing with the wifi sometimes. And the phone when you check on settings<phone<status it doesn't show my number or network. Like when you check for your phone status it doesn't say it.

yeah i get that with some sims not sure why might be because its a 3 branded phone who knows.

i would install a custom rom from here anyways might do it some good

You should have used my unlock tool,Input the code,And Done.
It works with 3 branded Phones as well.
