Syright talk uses Verizon towers so probably not unless a dealer can flash it over

Boost is CDMA, you'll have to find out if Straight Talk still has CDMA bands in use

root, roms? anything.. GO!
I emailed ZTE, who after violating the GPL enough.. there's that...

Download mode seems to be non-existent, and bootloader? nope as well...

kingoroot should temproot it, you won't randomly reboot if you close the app at 43, 45 percent, or lose root randomly until YOU choose to reboot. so you can flash whatever to the partitions.
