Help zte sim card

I will be buying a zte skate,it is rooted and unblocked.I do not know anything about androids.I have just recieved a giffgaff sim card.Will this insert like a normal phone. Also will the phone normally come with a sim card. Is there any thing you have to do other than turn it on and away you go. many thanks to whoever may anwser

I don't have experience with that phone, but if it is a GSM phone that usually uses sim cards, the phone may be required to be unlocked before you can use your giffgaff sim. You said it was unblocked. I'm not sure if you mean that is is unlocked or not, as unblocking has to do with an ability to use the phone, not necessarily to do with a service provider lock.

If it is unlocked, the giffgaff sim should work, but you may have to contact the about compatibility due to potential problems with network frequencies.
