ZTE ZMAX2 android 6.0 mark multiple emails as read

Updated software to Marshmallow 6.0
I am using the standard email app but assigned badges through Notifyer app.
The badge keeps showing all unread message count whenever new email arrives. Once I swipe the notification away or open an email, the total number of unread messages disappears only to reappear when another email appears.
Is there a way to "select all" and mark all unread messages as read to get the count down to zero or do I need to open each one individually?
This is not a GMAIL account

Open your email app, select mark all as read.

I don't see that option on my phone.

You'll need to use a 3rd party app from the play store that will. The stock email app is pretty much bare bones.
Check out Aquamail or Blue mail, or anything other than what you are using.
