ZV8,tots, LGup, LGFlashTool 1.8.9 Sprint/Boost/VM, Qfuse

After receiving my stylo back for the 4th time from LG I decided to back off from the bricking and see where things have progressed for others fixing their bricked sprint variants on there own. There are a couple of solutions like tots build by lg-firmware-romcom and there is one ZV5 from Asia being sold. There is one built free ZV8 tot that has bricked someone and that supposidely is because it is not signed. Also there are the questions of when do you know to use LGup vs. LGFlashTool, and might that brick you if you attempt to use the wrong tool, or dll. Seems the dlls are keeping many from attempting flashing, which is what happened to me. Also, the qfuse debacle. Some phones supposedly have qfuse, some don't , how are we supposted to find out which we have? And so we have, LG-firmware-romcom said don't flash back to earlier versions, then they took that message down. I've seen two users from there say they flashed back to ZV5 from ZV7 no problems. I guess I'll have to play nice, no kingroot. This is probably the last OS update since LG has the stylo2 and 2+ now, so hopefully someone will put up some tried and true free solutions for us.
