I am searching for an app etc. which can delete the photos in the camera folder preferable at a given time once a day. (It's a remote camera setup to take one snapshot a day synced with Google Photo)
I know there are several automation apps out there which can probably do this, but I would prefer something more simpler, reliable and dedicated setup.
Anyone got an idea?

I didn't watch any of the USFL games last year. I saw their commercial the other night... for real football I guess it kicks off April 15th. I have no idea what rules they play by. I gather there are eight teams with two divisions. Depending on when they palay I might watch a game or two. Before watching my thought is why to wannabe leagues. Combine XFL and USFL and play it their season at the end of basketball and the beginning of baseball.

I have a new to me galaxy tab active 2 which I have been busy setting up to meet my needs.
I am not as savvy as i should be and sometimes i get my setting correct by chance and then mess them up which i have now done.
At 1st when i would receive a fb messenger notification it would show up on an home screen looking like a chat head of the person but a hair smaller and keep in mind chat heads were turned off,
So if i clicked on that chat head a small window would open showing the message thread with that person which had the option to open it full screen close it or leave it small, I liked this but some way I messed it up it's gone now anyone know what it was and how to get it back? and no, this was different to the chat heads toggle feature in messeger settings.

Hello. URGENT. I have a new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and I can't get Whatsapp to transfer my chats from the old phone: Samsung Galaxy S20fe. I've tried everything.

I've tried backing up the old phone, and it doesn't do a complete backup: only 828MB when it should be about 1.4GB. I then install Whatsapp on the new phone, obtain the six digit code from the old phone, enter my phone number, then password.

After that, Whatsapp opens, but with only 32MB of chats from the past few days, not my (incomplete) backed up database. Also, after I enter my phone number and six digit code, Whatsapp goes straight to the list of chats. My phone doesn't show the additional screens: the option for Whatsapp to access contacts and media; and also, Backup found and option to restore it from Google Drive.

I spent two hours with a nice, knowledgeable guy in the T-Mobile store yesterday. He couldn't solve the problem. I have to return the old phone within the next two days or I lose my $800 credit on the new phone. Help! Thank you.

Need some advice :
So, every summer I set up my inflatable hot tub on my outdoor patio, which has no electric outlets. I have a GFCI outlet on the front wall of the house, which I run a long 75 ft outdoor extension cord along the side of the house, around to the hot tub.
Always works well, never trips the breaker.
I had an electrician come out to quote me a price to install an outlet on the patio, $450....
Im thinking to just using the extension cord.
Thoughts?

price wise, is wireless charging a high end and costly feature to have? I am looking for a simple tablet for my living room that will serve as a display of music tracks. I was wondering if i can get one at an affordable price with wireless charging built in

4. Specifics of the problem - downloading photos from Adobe's Lightroom Mobile Cloud super slow, ONLY ON THIS DEVICE.

My internet speed is about 50 Mbps, tested on multiple devices, including this Galaxy Note 8 phone. I'm experiencing slow downloads to local storage (SD with 250GB free space) from Adobe's Cloud in Lightroom Mobile app. I've had the same issue when downloading photos from Dropbox to this phone. All other apps work fine, for example Kindle downloads or streaming videos, no issue.
On my Note 8, it takes over 8 minutes to download 50 photos (Lightroom's "smart previews" with longest edge 2550 pixels). The same exact 50 photos took less than 25 seconds on my Galaxy Tab a7 lite & on Bluestacks.
I've tested the Note 8 using ethernet & USB-C dongle & Wi-Fi, same results. I don't have good cellular access in this location, so have not tried mobile data.
I've posted on Adobe's forum and on a Lightroom forum and no one has a solution, so thought I'd ask here.

There's a nice app[ called "PLT Hub" which is on my A51, and it is no longer available in the Play Store. Using Syncios Transfer, have backed up all apps from the A51 to my Mac. BUT the apps convert from a name to folder listings with a bizarre code, similar to hex.

Using Android File Transfer, there's no folder called Applications.

I know that one can download "apk" from websites, but that doesn't always work

I know it make not operate if transferred, but how does one transfer a single App from one phone to another?

Why doesn't Google apps not automatically updating

I'm having an issue with my S21 (android 13).

I am using an app that gives redeemable points for the kilometers I drive with the phone faced down (FaceItDown - By Toyota).
In my old phone S8+ I had no issues, but with my S21 it frequently reports extremely low distance traveled.
I did a test using both phones on a a drive, the S8+ says 53Km, the S21 says 3Km!

I tried contacting the developer, bu go no response.

I am assuming it is a power saving measure, but have not been able to pin it down.
So far I have tried
- Switching off Power saving
- Turning off Limit apps and Home Screen
- Turning off adaptive battery
- Including FaceItDown in never sleeping apps


Any suggestions would be welcome.

I have timed the app and it seems to behave okay for durations less than 15 minutes.

Hi. I have a Moto E6 phone with Android version 9. I inadvertently imported a second set of contacts into my phone. The phone app only shows one set of contacts, bu the contacts app shows the duplicates. I want to merge or safely remove the duplicates.

Online I see lots of articles telling me to use the merge option in the contacts app, but there is no merge option. I thought about just deleting the duplicates, but I was concerned about if this was safe. Part of my concern is that I have not just used the contacts phone numbers for calling people, but also for texting, and I was concerned that somehow if I deleted a duplicate contact that I had used to text with (the original contact that existed before I imported the duplicate), that the texts that I had created with that contact's number would be deleted as well.

As you can tell, there is a lot I don't understand about my phone, and would really appreciate any help I can get.

I have a Cat S62 Pro.
After the battery ran out of juice following happens:

As soon I start to charge the phone its start too boot. However at that point the phone isnt charged enough to complete a boot so it runs out of energy, shuts down and then try boot again shortly after.

I´ve tried to unplug it and to start it myself in order to completly run the device out of energy.
However same problem, same loop starts as soon as I charge.

Leaving it connected with a charger doesnt help. It has been charged the whole night, just keep depleting the litte energy it has by trying to boot to early.

What to do?

How hard is it to take pics with a wallet case for Samsung S23 Ultra or other cell phones for that matter?

It seems like for landscapes etc when open the front cover would get in the way. What experiences do the wallet owners have when shooting pics with a wallet style case. I recall years ago when I last had a wallet case it got in the way a lot... by that I mean when shooting how you hold it properly etc.

All of a sudden every time I shoot a movie on my Samsung S8 it shows at the bottom of the list in the gallery, instead of the top as it used to and when I open OpenMTP on my Mac (the app I use to transfer movies from my S8 to my Mac), the latest movies don’t show up. Why has this suddenly changed? My other S8 is fine - newly shot movies show at the top in the gallery app and show up in OpenMTP so I can drag them across to my Mac computer..

I have a very significant difference in the wi-fi speed on my main phone (LG K20) and my travel/BKP phone (Samsung Galaxy J2) with Avast speed test. Testing the speed in the same location with same router, LG speeds are 55 down / 28 up; Galaxy speeds are 0.04 down / 7.6 up. Both running the same release of Avast. Ran Ookla speed test from Ookla website and get Galaxy speed 33 download but can't get upload speed to be displayed. Anyone know how to get that displayed? Should I download the Ookla app from Google play and use that? On my computer Ookla does display both speeds.

On my S7, I've got a side-by-side dual clock, in descending order location, time (largest font), date - side by side.
On my S22 Ultra, Samsung has 'updated' what was an elegant layout by removing the side-by-side layout to each clock occupying its own line.
Microsoft is famed for screwing up this sort of thing because they latest cohort of geeks have to re-invent the wheel. For people who actually have to use things on a day-to-day basis, it is infuriating.
Is there any way I can swap over the S7 layout onto the S22? I don't have the know-how or desire to do a custom creation. i just want to preserve a superior S7 presentation on my s22.

I have never exported my text messages from my Note 8. It has 8 gigs of messages. I want to save them on my Windows 10 PC and be able to save them like they were on my Note 8. What software can I Buy?
I thought of buying Droid Central for $30 ! I want to maker it simple and save my complete messages/pictures/links on the PC and be able to delete the messages on the phone to free up memory space on the 64 Gig Note. I kind of like using my text messages as a Journal with particular people.
