some videos from a particular sender does not download on WhatsApp on my phone. SAMSUNG GALAXY J2 2018 ANDROID VERSION 7.1.1

when trying to open that paticular video on WhatsApp web it says video not available on phone.

tried uninstalling and reinstalling WhatsApp..still no change..

This has been going on for some time
(maybe for a couple of weeks)and on one device only...WhatsApp on other devices in my household are working fine.

I turned on media visibility in Chat settings on my phone...but the issue still persists.

Although like i mentioned.. this issue occurs from videos sent from one particular sender in a WhatsApp group...

Videos from all other senders in this group and other groups and other personal chats on WhatsApp downloads properly without any problem.

I ejected the SD card from my device and checked..still same story..

I noticed now that if the mobile data is switched on instead of the Wi-Fi (72 mbps speed) at the time of receiving the video it does get downloaded.

Although if Wi-Fi is switched on at the time the video is received on my phone the video does not even download/open.. Even if trying to open it later using mobile data

green circle will come and then i get the message "download cannot be completed" also when the video is received on my phone..the file size is not displayed on the video

I have (Samsung Galaxy S7. Android version 8.0.0, Samsung Experience version 9.0. Everything is up to date. It has not been rooted or jailbreaked.

A few days ago I went to check the weather but the app icon was missing. I found an app called Weather in the setttings. I found in the settings of the app "Add icon to app list" and turned it on.

The problem.is, when I click this icon, it's not the same as my old trusty and simple to read weather app. I have never downloaded another weather app and certainly didn't delete the original. This one isn't nothing like my usual weather app. I also noticed that the enable and disable button is greyed out. So you can't disable/enable or even delete it.

Does anyone know where my original weather app disappeared and why there's no icon on my home screen anymore?? What app came with the original Samsung Galaxy S7 and how do I get it back? Please help!

I changed the pattern of my device and it is working, but after the battery drained and turned on again, it no longer works? What do you think about this? Thank you. My device is Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime

When my screen goes dark, bluetooth music connection is sort of "weakened". Example. I exercise and use my phone to play either spotify or youtube videos and all is well but after a while the screen goes dark and when it does it's almost as if that connection's power is reduced by 50%. Still plays but suddenly there'll be stuttering, break ups, etc. Like suddenly I have a flip phone from the 80's. It's absolutely perfect correlation (i.e. it happens exactly the same every time). There USED to be an app called "Caffeine" which would over ride this and allow you to allow certain apps to keep everything up and running but I've googled it exhaustively and cannot find that app, or anything like it.

Also, I have new hearing aids that allow streaming from my phone and they're absolutely amazing! BUT if I do spotify etc. and ptu the phone in my POCKET, jostling around makes them cut in and out. Like I need an external "belt mounted holder" or soemthing which I do NOT want. Is there any way to make things "bullet proof" when a phone is in one's pocket? Like be able to quickly pull it out and access controls but slide it back in pocket and not have every thigh twitch result in a breakup, skip or jump to the next song, or text a picture of my wife's butt to one of my tenants! (yeah...happened once...)

What does everyone use for a weather app? I want something that I can add a number of locations to as well as the ability to "follow me" and give me the weather where ever I am a t the moment. I have tries a few like 1Weather. It says it will follow your location but it rarely works if at all. I like Weather bug but I dont like the widgets they provide.

Recently, my Google Calendar has stopped notifying me on Reminders. Event alarms still send out notifications, but reminders don't anymore. I don't know about Tasks, as I don't use that feature. I didn't change anything, they just stopped working all of a sudden a couple of weeks ago.

I can't for the life of me root it / even unlock the bootloader.

Tried rooting apks, rooting via usb / windows.
Unlocking bootloader via ADB - Will detect phone in ADB devices but not in fastboot mode. OEM unlock in dev options is turned on!!!
computer doesn't register phone as in fastboot / bootloader mode but just as normal samsung phone
(just error waiting for device)
installed SDK tools but still same above problem
Tried all this driver stuff for the adb side but nothing worked.

im wanting to record reaction videos on my phone, and use a Bluetooth keyboard, but on my galaxy a42 every time i make a input the word bypass flashes on the screen, i tried a lot of different virtual keyboards and settings but nothing fixed it

i have a galaxy a42, i have the clipper app and it keeps coming off of my notification window, and i have a rotation control app, and i constantly have to go in and turn it back on, and some apps i keep having to sign back in to the apps, hope someone knows whats going on thanks

I have not advanced to VPN's so will do work at home if necessary.

I have an older J3. The notification sound rarely works when I am receiving normal SMS texts. I reset the notification sound occasionally, but his does not seem to help.
The sound works at times, but only very randomly. I have to tell friends to call rather than text if they need to contact me immediately. Is this a common problem?
