I am a newbie on Android programming, and I am using the latest version of Android Studio on a Mac.

For some reason, the emulator gives me an upside-down display when I rotate the device in the landscape. See the screenshot below:




Any ideas on how to fix that?

This latest update is the 6th for the Global, Exynos, S21 & S21+ and is currently being rolled out by Samsung.

It would appear that this is a bugfix for the previous release, AUB6, as well as a camera update.

The Galaxy S21 Global, Exynos, devices that will receive this update are...

• S21 5G model SM-G991B
• S21+ 5G model SM-G996B

This latest release replaces the G99*BXXU1AUB6 February build. No news on whether this will also apply to the Ultra model at the moment. Will update as soon as I know more.

Initially, as always, this is rolling out to the non-carrier branded, stock Samsung CSC codes first.

It is a FOTA, (Firmware Over The Air), update and you can check... Settings > Software update... to see if it is available for you

I have had the phone for about 4 years. In the last two months, when I am near a television (smart tv) or microwave, if I am trying to retrieve a message the phone beeps and then the line drops out. When I go to voicemail, there is no message there. On some occasions, the message has been archived. Most times there is nothing there.
This doesn't happen when phone is used elsewhere in the house or when outside the home.
Please note, my husband's phone which is an Apple, doesn't have any problems.

I'm pretty sure I already asked about this a couple years ago, give or take. Well, I'm asking about it again. I know there's a gizmo that can transfer from one sd card to another without a computer. What I don't know is what it's called, how much it costs, and how to get it. Does it require a second phone? I hope it can be used with just one, the Moto G. I could probably afford up to thirty or forty dollars for it. How would I hook it up and does it need an outlet, or would just the phone be enough?

On Android 6.0 every time I restart the phone I lose several apps, including the Google search bar widget, the weather display, and several other unrelated apps. The icons for those other apps get changed to the Android icon but there is no application. If I reinstall them all again, and then restart the same thing happens. I am not using the sd card for anything other than a backup location.

Hi all - so on my device when vivid mode is on, skin tones look really yellow, unnatural/pale and make people look jaundiced. But if I minimise the app in the recent app window, or if I put the app in splitscreen, or if I put the app in pop up view, the skin tones look totally normal. But as soon as I full screen the app, the colours quickly change and the skin tones look horrible again. It happens on most apps (Facebook, Chrome, Messenger and the Gallery) but doesnt happen on Reddit, colours on Reddit look great. It doesn't happen in natural mode or when eye comfort is turned on either, only in vivid.

It actually looks even worse on my device in real life than the video was able to capture.

Does this happen on your device? It drives me nuts looking at people's faces on the phone because they look so unnatural and its annoying seeing the colours change when I switch between apps. I don't understand why this is happening - any ideas?

Ok, I don't know if headphones like this exist, but I would like to find some headphones that are the big headphones that go over the whole ear. I would like for it to have a boom for talking on the phone. But, the trick is I want to listen to music in stereo. But, when I make a call or go onto a video conference call, only use one ear for audio. (I can't stand talking to people hearing them in both ears when over a phone or like a zoom call.) Does anything like this exist?

I recieved my S21 Ultra a few days back (after having first tried a Note 20 which had a fawlty camera module so I returned it & exchanged for the ultra)

When using Dex the option to use my phone screen as a touchpad does not exist, I've looked all over the notifications, settings etc and it's just not there, any ideas?

Also on my Note 20 when I was playing with Dex there was a feature to be able to move the mouse onto the phone screen itself, again I cannot find this feature, maybe it doesn't exist on the S21 Ultra.

Bit stumped, appreciate any pointers.
