Greetings. I have a tremor that seems to be getting worse and sometimes I have difficulty scrolling on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. I saw under Accessibility > Interaction and dexterity > Universal switch > switches > Camera and I'd like to use the head movement feature to scroll and maybe even adjust volume (not as important).
I added these switches 'Turn head right = scroll down or right' , 'Turn head left = scroll up or left' then when turning on it said to add a switch and assign 'select', which I did .
After allowing the permissions it goes to a screen that says 'Use your switch to tap "OK" within 2 minutes. I'm not sure what 'use your switch' means....if I tap ok with my finger it goes to a menu that isn't useful. I'm guessing I'm going wrong at this step but I don't see anything resembling a switch that I can use to tap the ok.
Has anyone had experience with setting up this feature?

I am looking for a solution for notifications in my application.
The notification begins and ends at a specific time, e.g. start: 8:00, end 12:00. In the meantime, the application sends a notification every 30 minutes. Any solutions?

saved a backup file to google drive from previous phone, then on my new phone, from the restore browse, I can find the target backup file, I select the file, it shades blue, then hit select on the upper right, it returns to the restore select file screen but the file is not there, only the empty folder that is designated for backups which is empty because this is a new phone and no backups have been made to it yet

Is there any way to SHOW notification icons on the Always on Display, in Android 11, in DND mode ...but silence notifications, while in DND mode?

It was easily done in Android 10, but appears to be not possible in 11, unless you want notifications to ALWAYS be silent, even when not in DND mode.

I dislike Android 11 immensely, and this just adds to it.

Is there a third party DND app which could actually accomplish this??

When you type "androidforums.com" into the address bar (in both Firefox and Chrome, haven't tested other browsers), the page does load, but it isn't automatically redirected to the secure https://androidforums.com version of the website. Hi guys kind of new to android studio and currently am using the latest version as of today 4.1.2

I am creating a flutter app for the first time and was wondering if there is a way like in vs code to autocomplete a chosen widget like the stateless and statefulwidgets. VS code when I start to type stateless and if I choose from the popup list StatefulWidgetW, It creates the whole widget structure and all I have to do is fill the body of it or modify it to my needs.

While prepping an 8.1 I enabled the update profile setting accidentally. The device hadn't been used for nearly a year and there was no service either, so I didn't sweat it. About 30 minutes later a download icon surrounded by asian writing abrubtly appeared and moments later it rebooted and I suddenly had all the former sp's bloatware installed along with several mb's of code. I was poking around these settings in prep to root it and I'd already unlocked the bootloader before I tripped the update and after this update it was reset. I grock some code and it really seems that they flash/recovered it ota?!? I used lucky patcher to look at some of the apps involved and they even had permission to take a dna sample and my firstborn. They had ALL the permissions. I guess my question is, did oem just flash my stock rom? I've rooted successfully but I'm pretty green otherwise.

I would like to buy a factory-new tablet (Galaxy Tab S6) so I would like to check if the device has ever turned on (since the production date) and also how to make sure no factory reset has done yet.

I am using android version 6.0.1.
When I try to open certain apps it says your device is rooted and that app wont open on my phone. Any solution for this problem?
