I have a frozen folder which contains frequently used apps on the home screen of my Honor 8X phone. I cannot move, or delete it. I can put in a duplicate folder containing the same apps and this works OK but the original frozen folder I just cannot remove. Have tried re-boot but no difference. Anyone please have a solution without having to do complete reset. Tks.

Hello! I have a question about Whatsapp data files, I could really use your help.

I believe this is entirely my fault but I still want to ask, maybe there is a way to fix it?

So here’s my situation, I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 pro. The phone includes an option to do a deep clean and there is also a Whatsapp cleaner. It recommended me to delete the data files and I read online that there wouldn’t be an issue if I did that, so I did it.

I noticed my conversations were intact, but every image or audio file I sent were not available anymore. Inside any chat conversation I’d have to individually download images or voice notes sent to me and they were there. I was like, okay at least they still exist.

This is the weird part, I didn't want to download each file individually and while deciding what to do, my phone created a new backup at 2am, then I decided to Uninstall and Re-Install Whatsapp, based on what I read online. The problem it’s even worst now because I can’t even download previous voice notes or images from my contacts, like I was able to just a few hours ago. It says something like Sorry can’t download this right now, please try again later.

Is there a way I can get these back? I have very important voice notes that were sent to me that I don’t want to loose, also family pictures. I know it's a long shot, but there HAS to be a way, pleeeeeeeeeease. Give me at least 1% of hope!! Is there an app maybe that can help me recover my files?

I Thought it was an app download, I ditched it and got another app for a gallery. (I am old school so what?)
I did search in the developer mod too. So far, no such luck, it flickers so rapidly too. Any suggestions would be great

New Note 20 5G. When I'm using the phone and I get an answering machine message that I don't want to listen to I close the app, however the sound still plays. The same happens when I'm listening to a podcast and close the app. Unless I press the pause it still plays. How do I close either app?

I have recently started to study Java with the final aim to master apps development for android. Since Java basically is my first programming language (php doesn't count), I faced some difficulties at the very beginning. Of course I did some research and found significant amount of information which I was looking for, but I am still not sure that I am on the right way.

Could you please help me with the following questions?

1) Basically the first thing I need to know is Core JAVA, right? well, I have started with online java courses on Udemy, a Horstmann Java tutorial and some additional web sites like oracle and tutorialspoint.

However:
As I don’t have enough experience in coding, therefore I definitely need more practice. The book and web resources which I have mentioned, don’t really offer any practical programming tasks. Could you please recommend me some resources or maybe books which can help me to practice?

2) Probably some of you could also give me general recommendations on how to develop oneself in this sphere in the most effective way possible… that I don’t spend too much time on things which are not even relevant you know.

My goals so far is to find a job as a junior android developer, that’s what I am preparing myself for now.

If my questions sound dummy for you, sorry guys, I am just in the very beginning of this way.

I wanted to find one game on the Google Play Store, but I couldn't do it.
It's a game where other games can be made. The game is in voxel form, so you have an overview of what you're making in 3D Space.
You can make, for example - Getting Over It, platformer games, you can make to drive a car on any surface you make...
The game normally has bright colors, it's very interesting. There's a little programming in it, nothing to do with the code, but you connect different blocks.

I don't know how else to describe the game, but if anyone could help me, I'd appreciate it.

I have a Gear S3 of three plus years of solid service. It is a stand alone model which means it will work beyond BT range. Last summer, with the increase of service cost, I dropped its cell coverage. It still works flawlessly as long as it is within BT range but if that connection is dropped it naturally seeks cell service. It's not a big deal but it continues to look for that unavailable cell service with a warning that it can't connect. If left undetected and ignored via the watch, it rapidly drains the watch battery. Is there a way in the stand alone model to tell it not to look for cell service when out of BT range? I've looked but haven't found a solution.

I am trying to install gbwhatsapp on my old samsung galaxy pocket plus (GT-5301). But it says problem parsing the package, I have enabled the installation of unknown resources. the original whatsapp works fine as usual. But i am unable to install this mod, Can anyone help me please on this regard

On a PC running Windows, it's easy to search for a file and it looks in subfolders. My Android (4.4) doesn't do this. How do I make it do so?

for the 2nd time now my message app suddenly does not allow deletion of individual texts within a text stream,
I would have to delete the entire stream which I don't want to do

I think last time I was able to restore a prev version of messages but don't have that option now

Need some help, I Have a Samsung S20 Ultra.

When trying to back up a full backup, it does not include all the folders I make and sorting my apps under different categories.

When restoring the Phone again, all apps are in one big mess, and I have to categorize it all over again.

Am I doing something wrong, or is it simply just an impossible task to do on Samsung (Android)..?
