What's up with this thing?

I'm not sure if Files to SD Card is actually working. I keep trying to move or at least copy screenshots (and some other files) to sd, but apparently they're still in emulated. It says files have not been moved. Meanwhile internal storage is just about full, despite my efforts to get rid of unwanted apps, clear caches, etc. Would rooting help? I'm not sure if I can.

Galaxy S20 FE Android 11 & UI 3.0 Beta roll out

With the news that Samsung have started to roll out the stable Android 11 & UI 3.0 releases. comes the news that the Beta test firmware release has started for the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE model.

Initially, this has started rolling out in Samsung's home country, South Korea.

See... S20FE One UI 3 beta started in South Korea

This bodes well for the Galaxy S20 FE users as it puts them on the road to a stable release in early 2021.

Users should check their Samsung Members app in case they need to sign up for the Beta test firmware. The Beta test on the Galaxy S20's was limited to 5 or 6 countries and unbranded Samsung models and therefore the Beta may not be available to everyone.

Has T-Mobile Coverage Improved Recently Compared to Verizon and AT&T?

I've used all the carriers over the years and 3 years ago settled on Verizon because it had the best coverage outside of cities. Seems like Tmobile in the past really concentrated on building their network in cities and marketing to mainly urban customers. When I'd get into some of the outer suburbs and even more so, rural areas while on road trips with people, the people with Verizon almost always had a signal, closely followed by AT&T and Tmobile would frequently drop out the further you got from the city.

I have a factory unlocked S20+ that supports CDMA and GSM and all the 5G bands. I'm disappointed that Verizon has basically bamboozled it's customers into thinking they have super fast 5G everywhere, when in reality their "Ultra Wide" millimeter band 5G is only available in like 0.5% of the country, and their "Nationwide 5G" is basically rebranded 4G LTE+, but using sub 6 4G frequencies with Dynamic Signal Sharing (DSS) resulting in speeds that are not much different than 4G LTE+.

I've read that T-mobile has invested in mid-band 5G so they have a 5G network that has a balance between coverage and speed as opposed to Verizon's current, "all or almost nothing" coverage/speed balance.
I'm wondering from those that in the past few months that have gone between Verizon and T-Mobile (either direction) that have traveled outside the city, has T-Mobile's coverage improved due to the Sprint Merger?

I believe Sprint is CDMA so theoretically I'm thinking T-Mobile might be the best choice considering I have an unlocked phone that support TMobile's GSM towers and Sprints CDMA towers. But has Tmobile truly integrated all the towers for these dual-network capable phones? Or is the T-Mobile service still significantly behind Verizon and AT&T as far as total coverage outside the cities?

Android 10 update broke all Google apps

Hi there - been a while since I've posted here in Android Forums, I guess it's a good thing I haven't had a major problem, hmm.

I installed the most recent Android update yesterday (12/1/20) on my Samsung A20. After it rebooted, it took hours to finish (a "Finishing System Updates" bar in my Notifications). After it finally did, none of my Google apps will load, they stay on an opening screen logo or a blank screen. All of my other apps work, except the ones that use Google to sign in (man, I'm missing my Pokemon Go fix!). I can't even do searches on it. Help?

Apps Download APP on Google Play Store with error “Something went wrong. Try again.”

My APP is upload to Google Play Store. The APP's min version is API21(Android5.0) and target version is API29(Android10). I use a phone which is Android11 cannot download the APP, but another phone which is Android10 can download the APP.

When I press the download button, the error message shows "Something went wrong. Try again." with the Android11 phone.

I have tried the suggestion on the official website to clean the cash of the Google Play Store and restart the phone, but it still cannot download the APP and just popup the error message.

What is the problem I am encountering?

Tablet help

Hi, I hope someone can help. I have recently purchased 2 Android tablets that mount onto my headrests for the car. They run Android 9. I have downloaded the Sky Go app but it won’t run on a rooted device. I get an error code of 99z I believe. I’m not very familiar with Android software so I don’t know how to fix the problem. Help!

Sumsung phones with Android 10 are insecure

All Samsung phones using Android 10 and possibly others as well are now completely insecure. When receiving a call, hang up and before the lock screen appears hit the display running apps button on the bottom right. You can now access all the data on this phone. I contacted Samsung after my data was stolen and contacts and email messed with and they gave me a "So sorry we cannot help and thank-you for telling us".

Right app on wrong phone

I just found out that the Files to SD Card app somehow got installed on that crappy Cricket phone instead of the A20S, which may actually be the A207F. Could this make a difference? How do I get the app on the right phone? I tried to manage it by actually using the Cricket phone, but the only options are open and uninstall. I have emailed googoo about the problem but do not have high hopes.
