Can a malware disconnect you from your Wi-Fi? As I have learned that virus doesn't exist in mobile devices, all that's left is a type of malware. But my device isn't showing any signs that it has a malware like what it should be. I've also tried checking if there's a timer active, the "always keep my Wi-Fi on", and all of them are right. So, if not, then what is causing my device to disconnect?

Just so this doesn't come up in the answer - I don't have wi-fi or a smart TV, just my mobile data and a not-so-smart HDMI TV. I used to use my Galaxy J7 to connect to a Screen Beam Mini 2 via Smart View on my J7. I just got a Galaxy A21 and it turns out Samsung stopped making Smart View as of a month ago (Oct. 2020). I have tried EVERY possible way to get some version of SV on this phone with zero success. I can't connect it via USB C to HDMI either so that's out. If ANYONE can find a way for me to continue using the Screen Beam or another way to mirror to my TV I'd be VERY grateful!!!!

My OnePlus 6 has started to automatically change the colour balance. The screen's tint will sometimes go red, as though it's in night mode, for certain things (or seemingly at random sometimes).

This never happened before so it seems like a bug to me. Anyone have any experience with this?

When I press the volume all the way up it doesn't seem loud enough. Then I noticed that when hitting volume down it doesn't change until it get to almost the bottom then a sudden drop.
Not sure what happened? Anyone know what I can do to fix it. Looked through the settings and couldn't find anything that didn't anything.

I'm weeding out all my nickel and dimming out of our monthly expenses. I've been paying $4 a month for a long time to keep my phone backed up. I want to make sure my call logs and sms are backed up. Does anyone know of a utility that, say, once a day, if I'm connected to my wifi, it would backup directly to my PC?

I want to use my phone going on charge as a trigger. The problem is that my phone doesn't have wireless charging on board so I added a Wireless Charging Receiver that plugs into phone. Unfortunately, my phone doesn't register as charging when my phone is placed on a wireless charging mat. I assume that the charge is not large enough to register.

I am hoping that there is a way to get that charging value using Tasker but I have been unable to find a method by Googling. I have found the Battery Monitor v1.3 but can't figure out how to get any usable values out of it.

Any suggestions?

Is it a mistake. My older phone has tones of space and is similar but this one doesn't have space to update and its impossible to load a better memory manager. The one I use gave once a used only 4gb reading and I thought I d fixed it but now all the spare memory is system mem

Looking for an app that will back up my Note 9 pics to a directory I set.

I already have dropbox installed and that only works sometimes. I dont know if the app is being shut down by android or what is going on. I check my dropbox images and several are not there. Last pic may be from a week or ten days prior. If I happen to run drop box from my phone they all start uploading again.

I also have a NAS drive (WD MyCloud). The MyCloud app doesnt seem to work so great either. This morning I checked my Pics folder and the last on synced was several months ago.

Is there an app available, even paid is great, that will back up my pics everyday? I would like to send all my pics to my NAS over wifi. If it could back up my contacts and text messages that would be a plus.

I came across Addons Detector application, which is supposed to help find which applications produce adds of some sort. Does anyone have experience with this and its effectiveness and/or know whether it is safe to install? And what does in-app purchases as shown in its google play store entry mean?

There is a flaw/bug in this OS.

Our family use an App, Life360.
This App shows distance in miles and I need it to be in kilometres. There is no in-App option to change it as it depends on the system settings. But, I cannot find anything in System settings to change from imperial to metric. In Language options, the only English options are English (UK) and English (US). I am from South Africa and there is no English (South Africa).
My boys all have Android phones (Huawei) and theirs display metric. I am baffled.

UPDATE:
I have just change the language of the phone to English (INDIA) and now it shows metric. Where can I report this to fix?

This is very frustrating.
I will appreciate your advice and suggestions.
