I like to listen to things on YouTube while navigating.
(Definitely not watching. YouTube is minimised.)

PROBLEM: Google maps directions play over the youtube sound.

This problem is the same when listening to an audio book.

Is there someway of pausing when a Google direction is given? And then resuming when finished?

I know I can have a semi silent option for maps - but that's no good especially when driving in the city where there are turns every few minutes.

ALSO is there a way to avoid a big area when navigating?

I've been stuck sometimes, there's been a road closure - that hasn't been picked up yet on Google maps. I'm really stuck. I try driving away from the blocked area, but Google will just go mad trying to redirect me back to the blockage.

In tomtom, I'm sure there's a way where you can mark on the map to avoid a specific area. They've had that feature for a looong time.

Hi I'm Having problems with Android.uid.Phone using all my wifi it spikes im not sure whats causing it Please help.

I noticed on my new phone it comes with the resolution defaulted to 2280 x 1080 (FHD+) but it can be set to WQHD+ (3040 x 1440). My understanding is you use a bit less battery when using a lower resolution.

So if I'm not playing games, or watching 4K videos, is there really any reason to use the WQHD+ resolution? When I switch between the two, the fonts, icons, and apps have no noticeable difference in appearance. This is understandable when you consider many of us are watching TV and Movies in 1080P FHD and 4K UHD on a 60+ inch TV from across the room. Packing that same resolution into a 6-6.7" screen, even when viewing close up the PPI is so dense, even the lower 2280 x 1080 resolution looks beautiful with no discernable difference compared to 3040 x 1440. Even if you were to watch a 4K YouTube Video, on that small of a screen, I doubt there's any significant difference to watching it in 1080P. You definitely can see a difference on a 60" TV from 10-feet away.

I would also think in some cases on some phones maybe even gamers WANT to use the lower resolution to get faster frame rates for their games?

So I got to thinking further, is the WQHD+ resolution really in all practicality amounting to more of a marketing benefit to be able to advertise a spec that is equal to or better than competing model phones? Sort of like how for several years we got into the "Megapixel Race" on digital cameras only to come to realize more is not always better (higher megapixels on many cameras just introduced more noise given the same sensor size.)

Maybe the fact the manufacturer (Samsung), ships the phone defaulted to FHD+ instead of WQHD+ sort of answers my question right there?

I bought a pair of bluetooth wireless headphones. Everything works fine, except for one small detail: it seems that the touch controls are too sensitive. Since I never use them and they just get in my way, is there any way to disable them?

My huawei mate p20 pro is stuck on the 'huawei' startup screen - keeps constantly restarting over and over until the phone runs out of battry.
So far i have tried...

on the EMUI screen-
Factory reset
clearing the cache
restarting
power off
starting in safe mode
update and recover

also put the phone into reboot mode and tried to connect to hisuite buut my computer wont connect to my phone in this current state so cant do that


none of these have worked. whenever i finish a reset/update the phone just keeps trying to restart over and over again.
Is there anything else i can try?

With the merger of T-Mobile and Sprint, Mint is beginning to look more and more attractive.

Their unlimited plan is $30 per month, as opposed to $60 for Fi, and the advantage of switching between the two services is gone, now that they are one.

Both Fi and Mint are an MVNO, so why are we sticking with Fi if we live where US Cellular has no presence?

My Other Half has been a Mint customer for a couple of years and has had absolutely no trouble whatsoever.

Hey guys!!! I finally got Android 10 on my unlocked V40! It's pretty cool so far!! I wanted to ask you guys how you go into recovery mode on Android 10? I only have the factory reset option when I hold the power and volume down buttons... None of the procedures I read on the internet are working... And this install is fresh fresh, it's not possible that there's already a corrupted file somewhere is there?! :O

My radio is hooked up to 2 amps..subs..6×9s.ect..when its in radio mode my stereo pounds! But if I use my phone n pair it to headunit there's no sound.my YouTube video playing on my phone..and it shows it playing on stereo..sometimes I get it to work.it says like avrp connected..this is driving me crazy!.can someone please help me..thx

Hello Folks!

Is there anyway to duplicate my Samsung Galaxy A20e screen to an external monitor through VGA port?

I bought an adaptor ( https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B087JS19QF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) and I plugged it in, but nothing seems to happen.
I searched the internet for answers, but I couldn't find anything really usable.

Any suggestion?

(This is an old screen of mine, but it's still working so it would be a shame not being able to use it anymore.)

Has anybody see this documentary?

So I recently got the screen on my device repaired as it was cracked to hell but noticed that the notification light next to the front-facing camera has stopped working where it previously worked before the repair. Any tips or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

My device is a Sony Xperia L3 as mentioned above and is running Android Oreo

If anyone is still using this phone, does it still respond to customizable voice commands and will it unlock using voice only? I guess what I mean to say is , does it still behave as it originally did when it came out in 2014?
