I have a tablet that I can't turn on adb I use to turn it on like this adb shell setprop persist.sys.usb.config adb but now its not working is there any other way to turn adb on

Literally a few minutes ago, my phone suddenly added contacts that are from my moms phone. Only way I noticed that, is because my moms contact was changed to her first name when I had it something different.

What do I do to fix this? Would deleting all the added contacts just be the better option? Also, I haven't noticed anything else thats different.

According to my Google Reminder list, I have 95 completed reminders, but no matter what steps I take, I am flooded daily with these same so-called past reminder that I have already deleted, but either mysteriously reappear listed in the "At A Time" list as "overdue" or as normal reminders right below the "overdue" reminders.

BTW, What is an "overdue" reminder?

Furthermore, Even if they do not reappear on the active reminder list, I still get reminders from the completed list, and who knows where else?

And if you try to remove an item from the "Completed" list, it puts it back on the active list.

I searched for answers, but most of the suggestions refer to the Google Calendar. Google Calendar related reminders apparently have similar issues, but for me, this is a Google Assistant reminder problem.

If i turn off Google notifications, will that stop the reminders? If so, what other side effects can I expect, i.e. will turning off the notifications stop clock alarms.

I just want it to stop. How do I purge the reminder list for good?

I have got recently at work a new Samsung Note 10 lite. Since my company changes devices every year I do not see any reason to change my 1 year old previous model. I want to use new Note 10 lite as private device. Unfortunatly I have some doubts if this new company device has any spy software installed by company to remote manage and content monitoring. I got it sealed but they order houndreds of devices and it is possible to order its with dedicated software. My question is if there is any easy way to check it and confirm with 100% sure that the device is clean? If I ask at company, nobody answer me

My new Pixel 4a has the assistant search bubble natively on the home page but I want the Google search bubble with the microphone instead. I can put a search widget on any other side screen but I want it on the Home page. I have looked around and not found a solution. Please help! I don't like the assistant. My carrier is Fi.

I have an LG K20+ running Android 7.0 and a friend keeps sending me links via text and I need to capture these into a .txt (text file not text app), so I can email them to myself and then play them on my Win Latop.

What is the procedure to save these texted links into a text file?

How to stop my S8 from reading text messages out loud. This seems to have just started.

My mums Galaxy s10 went crazy after an update, apps wouldnt open, loads of apps including play store were missing so i said we needed to do a factory reset.
I went into Settings - Google - Backup and hit Back up now, after it completed I tapped above and on the next screen it said that App data, SMS, Device settings, call history, contacts were all backed up 1 minute ago, then I went back and Google photos said backed up 1 day before

So I was confident it was all goo and did the reset
After the phone restarted we signed into google account again and it didnt work.....
It only restored the contacts and the apps that were previously installed.
SMS and call history were not restored and neither were the pictures.

I logged into google photos via chrome and there were no photos there so it looks like they were never backed up.

With a computer I would now run a deleted files scan and recover at least some of the pics, but does such a think exist for phones?
Is there any chance of getting some pics back or is it just 0% chance.

Hello, first time posting here. I need help with my Galaxy A10e. I'm using Straight Talk as a carrier.

On previous Android phones that I've had, I've been able to use an app called PdaNet+ to channel my phone's internet into a computer via USB. Unfortunately, with this model phone, the USB tethering option is not working properly. The computer says it's connected to the internet, but I get no internet. Web browsers and game service cannot contact any servers. This phone has downloaded and updated its firmware twice already... and still, USB tethering just won't work. Unfortunately, the PdaNet+ app seems to be out of date for this model phone. I've seen USB tethering work on other Galaxy models. Any thoughts?

I want to use the DJ/ mixer apps on my Samsung S10, my music is all with Amazon music. It is all downloaded for 'offline' use.

When I come to use the DJ app and use my Amazon music on the DJ app, the app cannot find any of my music .

Is there any way of getting this to work??

Hi, I'm trying to film a simple video on phone. You can see in this test video, around 9 seconds in, the video jumps in and out briefly:


It's a slight jump in that video, but I have other videos where this issue is much worse. Seems to be related to auto-focus.

I've tried to record on standard android camera app, and on Open Camera app, but I get jumping no matter what. Also, this happens in low and highly lighted environments.

Even though it's a Samsung, I know phone is lower end. But cheap camcorders 15 years recorded better than this.

Any suggestions on how to prevent this jumping from happening?

When I make changes to my Contacts (such as changing or deleting a phone number), it never shows immediately. Some time in the future, the changes are displayed on my phone. Being a little anal, the wait drives me crazy. Does anyone know how to update or synchronize the contacts immediately so they show on my phone? I use the standard contacts app that came with the phone.
