The last couple of days the Forums app crashes every time I open it so it is currently unusable. I've cleared data and started over, it's ok until I log in and it loads the forums then it crashes again.
I know the first answer is "use a browser", that's not the one I'm looking for.

I think I'm in the right place.
I've been using the same live wallpaper for the last 11 years, so it became part of me basically, but with the latest update on my Note10+, it won't work anymore.
The last update "Twisted Colors" had was back in 2013 and I don't think the developer is ever going to update it.
I was thinking, being a complete beginner (but willing to learn especially if I have a goal in mind) if it is possible to open the app, edit it and save it so that it can work in an updated environment.
Even though it was made in 2013, it has worked just fine with Android 10, so I guess the problem lies in the new One UI 2.5 (which is basically the only real improvement in this update).
Is it possible to do?
I noticed that no similar live wallpaper are working, they all give the "keeps stopping" message. It is a live wallpaper with the touch input. When you touch the display, a "spiral" of colors appear where you touched, otherwise it appears in the middle of the screen. I've downloaded another wallpaper with the touch input, and it doesn't work as well.
If I'm in the wrong section, I'm sorry and please redirect me to a better suited section for the question.

When trying to insert a vidoe into the forum I get the error message below. My file is only 24 Mb and is a mp4 which is allowed. Can someone tell me what is occurring?

I have my ANS UL40 (Lifeline Account) in the shop the Battery Died. Non-Removable Battery. Can't find Parts.
However, The Tech needs a PASSCODE to access the Onboard Memory to retrieve my Data for Contact's & Pictures. So,I Can transfer them to my Replacement Phone. I can't find a PASSCODE, nor whatever I used at the time, about 2 years ago. Is there a way to Get the Code? I contacted Assurance with No Luck. Is there a work-around? Any way to find out what the Initial PASSCODE was??
I took it to the Shop as the Battery would no longer take a Charge.

Hi everybody, it seems that no one has had this issue or I lack the Smartphone knowledge to find the specific answer to my problem.

Just around one hour ago I wanted to listen to some music while taking a walk with my dog. I noticed that my phone's batteries died. No biggie, connected it to the Warp charger and walked my dog without music.

Came back, Battery already at 33% turned it on, logged in with my lock screen pin, and nothing besides my 3 Buttons (Home, Back, and Overview), the Wallpaper and the top bar (don't know what its called) are showing.

Apps are running since every time I do a restart, my McAfee Notification pops up. I can swipe down to access system settings, set Fly Mode, etc.

When I lock the screen with the right button and unlock it, sometimes the lock screen appears, sometimes it doesn't. Same with the 3 Buttons, sometimes they appear and sometimes they don't.

Restarted with Safe Mode, cleared System UI Cache still the same issue. I can't swipe to any side besides down.

Up doesn't show all my apps, swiping right won't bring up the page with the calculator, and swiping left won't show the rest of the apps on the home screen.

When I access an app through settings>apps and press the overview button either nothing happens or it goes to the blank home screen with just the wallpaper showing or it bugs out in a weird way and then shows only the wallpaper and nothing else.

The weird thing is, that just the battery died, I haven't used that phone all day long. Only after turning it on while it was charging started all this mess.

Now before I factory reset the phone and lose all my stuff, is this problem known, and is there a fix. I'm at my Wit's end, I know my way around PC's but Smartphones are uncharted lands for me.

Samsung notes recently updated and now any new note I create is automatically paginated. This is exactly what I DO NOT WANT. I want a long continuous page like it used to be. I looked all over and could not find a setting for pagination. How do I turn off this "feature"?

I ordered a Pixel 4a from Best Buy on 8/26/2020 and was to pick it up yesterday on the 17th of September. I checked with their on line customer service to confirm it was there before I bothered to drive there and was told I could pick it up in their McDonough, GA store yesterday.

I drove the 26 miles to pick it up and all I got was blank stares. They asked "who told you that you could pick it up today"? I said your customer service told me that less than a hour ago. "Well we're sorry it's not here". I ask when will it be here? "Ahhhh, we don't know".

I checked back this morning and they still have no idea when it's going to be there. I told them to cancel my order and they said they would. I asked when will I get my refund? She said the next billing cycle. I said BS to that I want my refund now not next month. Luckily I paid with PayPal. I called them and got my money back immediately. Best Buy can stuff it. I'll never darken their door entrance again.

I ordered Pixel 4a on line this morning from Google. It's supposed to be here on Oct. the 7th or the 8th. I'll believe it when I see it. Getting good customer service these days is next to impossible. Not to mention the mail service has gone to hell.

How hard is it for them to check their inventory on their computer. It's either there or it's not and when is the next shipment expected.

I think what Best Buy is doing is selling their stock as it comes in and since they've already got the money from the pre-orders they're just stringing them along. I checked their product availability phone number using the SKU number for the Pixel 4a and confirmed they were available in store yesterday. They evidently sold the one I ordered to someone else.

My question is:

Is transferring much easier if you still have your current device to hand and still logged in to it.

I was in a rush to send off my Nokia for warranty repair and decided not to wait before I bought another backup phone.

I've never changed devices with the old one in front of me, so is the backup and restore process much more comprehensive that way.

When I logged in to a new Moto E6 Plus yesterday, Google offered me diddly squat, saying saying no backups available. Why was it always ticked as backed up in the Nokia settings? It suggested to me 4 apps randomly from my apps Play Store, that's it.
I had thought it was going to better with Android 10 after previously having a Nougat device.

Today, 24 hours logged in on the Moto, I get a Gmail and message saying let's get you started on your new device. Press here for some of your previous apps. I had lost 12 hours of my life by then setting up again.

Now when I get my Nokia back, I'll hate it - where I loved it before because everything was as I made it.

I follow at least two reviewers who keep their sim in a new phone for a week and it appears easy to set up another one.

What happens when you have both devices?... and if you have an old bucket that needs kicking send it this way
