I have this Galaxy Tab A SM-P555M tablet I purchased in 2016 and use with a 128 GB SD card. Months ago I decided to move some apps to the card. Since then they have worked flawlessly.

Last week I needed to try to recover some images I had deleted from that card. Due to unsuccesful tries with several Android apps, I had to remove the card from the tablet to try Recuva using a PC.

The problem is that after I inserted the card back into the tablet, those apps were gone. Their icons on the apps drawer had changed to some sort of default gray icon, which, after clicked on, didn't open the related apps.

Is there a way I can restore these apps from the card, so they can work again like before? TIA.

I'm trying to help my brother with a problem he's having with his phone. He's experienced some situations where the phone doesn't ring when someone calls. For example, the other day, he happened to have it sitting face up on his desk when a call came in and he noticed the screen change. Another time, he happened to look at his call log and noticed that he'd missed a call several hours before, even though the phone had been in his pocket.

The volume on the phone is set close to maximum and his phone rings when I've made test calls to him so the issue seems to be intermittent. I've looked at his settings and can't see anything problematic.

It's a Sony Xperia model C5306 running Android 4.3; it's quite old but still works fine except for this issue.

Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong? Or is this routine behaviour for phones of this brand/model or age?

This is more precise than the standard swipe with a finger, but with several hours of movies, the arrows are not sufficient.

Anyone know an application where I can enter exactly the hour, minute and second?

Are there apps which can be used for speeches and similar that shows the text you want to speak? So one reads the text from the app for a speech and such.

Normal apps seems to be not that practical for such: the text has no line breaks at the margins (so you had to scroll to the left / right) they do not show the paragraphes, the (size of) font cannot be changed or the size of the text and many more.

hey.
a few days ago i started to not see any sign of receiving calls.the screen shows nothing but the phone rings as normal.and after the call goes to voicemail,it stops ringing and i get a voicemail notification.theres also a notification in the "recents" that i lost a call.
im using a motorola moto g6 plus,android version 9.
its not rooted,as far as i know.i have tried with/without developer options on,and also tried to reboot it,but thats all iv done.
i didnt change any settings before this started.
if theres anything else i can add,let me know.

I recently got a blu g90 and I have an SD card in it set up as internal storage and for a time as I was installing apps I noticed some of them were going to the SD card that I knew would not work correctly on the SD card and I transferred them to internal storage however now all the sudden as I continue to add my former apps to the new device I'm finding that now whatever storage they get installed on they are stuck on. About dying I've tried migrating the data for the whole storage back to internal storage before it's too full to handle it and if the button won't select I try moving individual apps from SD card to internal storage button won't select same goes the other way. Any ideas what might be causing this and how to override it? There's no settings I can find that would have caused it or that I can alter to re-enable transfer or migration of data and like I said the button is frozen it will not engage to migrate the data individually or as a whole
