As has been widely reported, the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra phones in the United States do NOT include the AKG-tuned USB earbuds, unlike the rest of the world. Reports are that US customers can request the earbuds, which will be provided at no cost.

However, my experience is that reports are only partially correct.

I requested the earbuds after providing my order number, so the Samsung representative could verify the purchase. Rather than ship out the earbuds, though, I was advised that a $30 promotional credit was being sent via email and to expect it in the next 24 hours. I could then use the promo code to order the earbuds.

Hopefully, the promo code includes shipping! Otherwise, I'll be sending Samsung a Direct Message on Twitter.

Not that I intend to use the earbuds: I don't. I have the best Bluetooth earbuds in existence and the best Bluetooth headphones on order (yeah, the Chief spoils himself)... but when I go to sell this device, including those earbuds will be a draw for buyers.

If you're a US Note 20 buyer, don't just accept the fact that the rest of the world got USB earbuds and you didn't... all you have to do is ask for them. And if you get a $30 code, you could always spend it on something else...

I have a box of devices picked up at an auction. Samsung S5 (cracked screen but works fine) and a Huawei Watch 2 4G ( I believe).

The phone has been reset and working, but the watch has a PIN and I have held down the top right button until vibrate, but seems to keep going back to the PIN screen. Obviously it is not synced to my phone and so I believe it might still be paired somewhere. the charge also only lasts about a day.

Can I reset or is this watch a dud and should I just chuck it?

When is it possible to take photos with Samsung Galaxy Note 10 / Android 10 so that they can be shown as "Motion photos" ?
On my Note 10 sometimes the function/feature is there, sometimes it isn't.

The manual only says "Motion photos: Set the device to take a video clip for a few seconds before tapping . This allows you to capture a moment you might have missed. To view the video, tap the preview thumbnail and tap View motion photo. To capture a still image from the video clip, tap the screen to stop playback and tap Capture. This feature is available only in Photo mode"

And, of course, I have only tried to find this out when using "Photo mode", but I can't get grip of it...

I've run out of space to store Wifi passwords. I once knew how to delete obsolete ones, thereby freeing up some space. I no longer remember how to do that, and also don't remember where I put the note that wasn't supposed to let me forget! Can anyone enlighten me? I promise I'll have it tattooed on my wrist.

On my Lenovo K6 Power phone, on the Android starting screen, the touch keypad for entering the pin is not working. The bottom row of buttons (comprising of the 'back' button, the '0' button and 'ok' button) does not function. When these buttons are pressed the screen displays characters of a row above, as if those have been pressed. So, I have not been able to start my phone at all. Can someone help with a solution?

Got this phone earlier in the year, and ever since the 1st week it keeps trying to update.
It says it's up to date. However, a message that flashes on the screen for 7 seconds is "software update unsuccessful." I don't believe there are no updates to be had! It's on Android 9.
I cannot, for the life of me, get this to turn off. To make it quit trying.

Any suggestions?

Does anyone know if you can set a distinct notification for each app?

I want my security system to give me a different ring tone than my text messages, etc.

I went into application manager and changed the notification for my security system but it changed it for everything.

the gel case it ships with seems decent ... but maybe a touch heavier than i normally use ... tend to go for as slim as poss

I am updating location background in service. once i press stop, location updates completes and set the flag true. while i checking the flag becomes true i need repeat until condition. How to implement that?

Greetings again. Past night I've encountered a problem.

My phone somehow went in eRecovery mode. I did everything what I had to and I was connected to WiFi. The issue is that it always fails to get package information.

Another issues are that I don't want to lose everything, even my contacts and I have an authentication app installed. I would lose access to my accounts. Factory reset is the last thing I should do.

I need help quickly.

EDIT: I tried Fastboot method, but my device is not supported for system recovery.

I have a plan with very limited data but unlimited SMS and MMS messaging. Recently Android Messages stopped using SMS to message other android phones. It actually won't send a text if I turn the data off. It still however will text my friends who use iPhone and my city's public transit SMS service(and hence I'm assuming most SMS modem services). Hi! I wanted to ask if Android games will work with just an Android tv box or as some call it micro console. Basically does it have to be for Android tv os or can it be for regular Android os also? And if only Android tv os games will work then about how many games can I choose from?
