So I am using the .nomedia file in a folder with some picture that I want on my phone but don't want anyone to casually find. The .nomedia file seemed to solve my issue, I was thrilled! UNTIL, I was in the Facebook App and went to upload a picture and there are all my hidden files for everyone to see. I could turn off permission to facebook but then I can never upload anything. I don't want that. Anyone have a suggestion?

I try to factory reset my LG Tribute Dynasty but it says lockscreen settings has stopped

Hi, I have a huge problem after the latest Android update. The new predictive text/spelling suggestions have turned my smartphone basically, um, stupid.

Pre-update, I had the phone well trained to the way I write. There were some things that didn't seem to delete when I repeatedly told the phone to delete them, but I had a lot of abbreviations and purposeful misspellings (plus timely proper names) I often use in various specialized groups and with certain people (not to mention four letter words I sometimes use). Those are now gone. And no matter how hard I work at retraining it, the phone doesn't learn. (On the subject of four letter words it's gone from drunken sailor level to prim and proper schoolmarm. Every time.) Once in a great while it will suggest a word I've used repeatedly within a particular conversation, but most of the time it offers stupidly nonsensical matches. Which can sometimes be hilarious, but very annoying. It slows down my posting and texting to have to Spell. Out. Every. Word. Isn't that the point of spelling suggestions and predictive text, to help one write instead of needing to fight with it every time?

Sadly, it's even forgotten my cat's name, and she's a constant topic of conversation. Now, not only do I have to spell out her name, it no longer understands it should automatically capitalize it. One or two lowercase letters were previously all I needed for her name to appear - properly capitalized - as a suggestion.

Why did this update change everything? And more importantly, are my previous predictive text words/spellings still stored on my phone? If so, is there a way to restore them? If not, how do I (can't believe I'm asking this) make the phone understand it's being trained and properly respond by being attuned to the way I write instead of remaining so uselessly, horrifically stupid?

I've searched in vain for any conversation about this particular issue, but the only matches I found thus far involved foreign dictionaries. I have no other languages installed on my phone.

I have a Samsung Galaxy A50 (Not the "S" edition) and no Sound will play from it. No notifications, ringer, or Media. And YouTube videos are sped up. I've factory reset and tried to plug in headphones. Nothing works. The only solution I could find is using a bluetooth speaker. The video even plays back fine with a bluetooth speaker connected. Does anyone know want the problem could be?

My wife's J5 has recently started popping up the low storage warning. I've installed a 32GB SD card and moved all the image files on to it although it turned out they only amounted to 30MB. The phone won't transfer videos nor will it record videos to the SD card. However she only has a couple of short videos stored amounting to about 95MB.

I've repeatedly tried clearing the cache and she's deleted all the old email messages in the Trash folder and all her old SMS messages but this only frees up about 300 MB and only resolves the problem for a few days before it returns and causes the phone to stop picking up new emails.

This model only has 8GB of memory in the phone itself and most of that is occupied by the system (3.35GB) and apps (4.06GB). The only apps over and above those that came pre-installed are Firefox, DuckDuckGo, WhatsApp and Avast free anti-virus. I've tried to uninstall some unwanted apps but they are just marked disabled and still occupy memory.

I've been looking into rooting the phone so I can completely remove some of the unwanted pre-installed apps but I'm in uncharted territory and very nervous about removing something vital so I'd be most grateful for any advice on whether this is the right way to tackle this problem and if so what pre-installed apps definitely need to be kept (such as the likes of Google Play).

I want to purchase T9 Android TV Box 4GB/64GB to use with LED TV. Moreover, I want to connect it with my Samsung Galaxy TAB A 9.7. Whether it will be useful for me. Tab's Ram is 2 GB & OS 7.1, whether its performance will be increased by connecting Android TV Box having 4GB Ram. Any expert can guide me in this regard.
