Hi. All of my email notifications say "content hidden", but I can't work out why. Things I've done

Settings> lock screen>notifications - set on and tap hide content is off, view style is details
settings>notifications>email - all account show notifications is on, new emails is on and tap has alert and lock screen as "show content"

Where else could hide content be???

To remove "Searching for Service" from Home Screen, try a Software Update. Go through Settings > Software Update. Follow instructions through completion. You will be notified when Software Update is completed.

I cannot get S voice to do anything. I do not have a reset option in s voice app area, it is not disabled. I have tried to restart phone several times. It has been like this for a few weeks now.

I can't find anywhere to uninstall to reinstall, etc......I do not want to reset the entire phone and lose everything.

Even with the new charger it's been screwy. It has to be shut off to charge much at all. It's probably time for my friend to get a new phone but without money that's hard to do.

At least that's how it seems. The regular on air broadcasts do have sound. Plug and replug doesn't work. Could it somehow be the set itself? It's a used but relatively new Element.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S8+ mobile and in the last few weeks, I have started receiving unwanted full screen ads immediately after swipping to open my phone. The present ad is from Kartel. A common denominator in the ads is that they say "Top on Google Play" with 5 gold stars. How can I stop them appearing? I have tried clearing cache but to no avail.

Hi I'm wondering if anyone is still using an s6 with newest firmware for it? I've been using foxfi for years but they say app don't work past 6.0.1 I want to update my phone but don't want to lose using foxfi to do so. Can anyone verify foxfi don't work with firmware newer than 6.0.1 for an s6?

My phone installed an update a couple of days ago. It is running Android 10, Software Version G850UM. Every since just as soon a I dial a phone number and press the phone icon to start the call, the screen blacks out. The only way I can get it to come back on is to press the power button. This seems like it may be a proximity sensor problem, but it does the same thing if I lie it on the desk and call a number. It is very inconvenient to end calls and for calls where you need to dial a number to get to a specific department. I also discovered that as soon as a voicemail begins to play the screen blacks out and I have o press the power button to get it back.

Has anyone else experienced this and found a fix for it? I have powered the phone off and on. I have turned the proximity sensor off and on - although I doubt it is the proximity sensor. I do not see a setting which would control this.

I really need to get this resolved. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Pixel 3, and recently the volume control is... out of control. It will randomly decrease in volume or mute. If I raise the volume back up, it will go back down on its own. Sometimes the only way to keep the volume audible is to hold down the volume button... and then sometimes even that won't work.

What's most frustrating is that this seems to happen mostly on my morning runs. I keep my phone in an arm band, so don't have ready access to fight with the volume control. It's really screwing up my workouts. :-(

Is this a known issue, and is there a workaround or solution?

Thoughts on cameras

Is there a setting in android to stop the echo that you get when talking to someone else using their hands free? (ie I can hear my own voice delayed as the phone pics it up coming out of the cars speakers when the missis calls me from her car).
This also only seems to happen noticeably when she calls out, and not if I've called her?
She should be on the latest droid I'd imagine as she's now on a new A21s phone.

I'm in the process of releasing my first app. Whilst uploading to the play store I notice it asks you what countries you want to distribute it to. I'm not sure what to select here.

My app is currently only translated in English. I was planning to release initially in English speaking countries (primarily so I can understand and feedback/reviews/errors from users), and if/when I'm happy with the app, I could look at rolling it out to other countries.

Are there any rules/recommendations as to where you can distribute if you don't translate the app? For instance, there's plenty of English speaking people in France, but would I be 'punished' if I didn't translate it to French when selecting that country?

Similarly, can users see what language the app is in before downloading it? I wouldn't want users to think the app is available in their language when that's not the case, as obviously they'd be disappointed.

I have an old Android phone whose screen is broken. The rest of the phone works (the lighting comes on, etc). I have already recovered the extra SIM card off of it, but want to recover a few other files and contacts on the phone. How can I do that? I was hoping to see the files in file manager if I merely USB connected it to my Windows machine. The device does show up, but I can't see any way to get to the file structure.

I think it's Android 7, or maybe 9 (not sure). I understand this is a very difficult question without a lot of info.

I'm installing android studio to use with UE4 but I have to install it on my SSD as my C drive is jam packed.

I can't find the SDK anywhere.

Do i have to install it on my C drive? i've installed and uninstalled and deleted everything and tried again so many times and the SDK is never in my folder.

Any help?

While trying to download dependencies in Android Studio, it throws "Connection timeout" error. If VPN is not connected it works fine. While connected to VPN, all android studio network calls fails ( like check for updates, plugin downloading ..)

I am using gradle v3.6.2. There is no proxy available in project and global gradle.properties. I have tried "Invalidate and restart" option but no luck. If I try with proxy in IDE or gradle.properties, got "connection reset" error. How to resolve the issue with VPN connected as I wanted to download dependency from proxy.
