Help Found a File With My Texts Logged

I found a text in my file manager. It is called "sms.xml". It is a record with every text I have had since around the beginning of the year. It shows exactly what both parties typed. It shows the phone number of the other person. It shows the "date" but instead of the date there is a long number there. One phone number kept showing up each time there was a text so I Googled it. It came up as a number that a company called SpyTox in Atlanta owns. I live in Georgia BTW. So I know this is not good. I need advice on what to do. What should I do first? This is crazy. I also found a lot of other files too that looked strange. Oh yeah and there was a file that logged all my phone calls too. Any advice would be appreciated.

Apps Looking for app maker (overlay receive call)

Hello,
at first sorry for wrong thread propably...

I'm looking for developer to make very simple overlay window at receive call and to send calling phone number to my site for ex. example.com/check.php?number=XXXXXXX

and the result is to get html table with clickable links (btw. is that possible to make nice look with css?) (default open chrome at phone) and show all this received info in overlay window, would be great to have:

- slider to move content of overlay window if there is more content
- small lock button to lock/unlock moving slider (optionally)
- min. Android 7+ support or little bit higher
- app option (not overlay) in menu to open also content from defined website full height (I mean also only table with dynamic data but bigger list)

Need source code to change sometimes the URL to check etc

Please leave your email or whatsapp, I will contact you asap

What tools to use for implementing a wedding guests confirmation mechanism?

I'm using Cloud Firestore and android studio for building an app that shows to a user his or her guest list and features list for the wedding. I want the user to be able to send guests some sort of confirmation.
The guest should confirm arrival even if he don't use the app. After the guest confirmed arrival, I want to update the UI accordingly in the user's app. What tools should I use for doing this ?

major speed difference between devices with the same Android version

For an application we need to toggle the flash LED of the mobile as fast as possible.

In a for loop the flash LED is toggled 100 times.

We noticed a 4 time speed difference between different devices running the same Android version (version 9).

What is strange is that the device with higher specifications (an 8 core Samsung Galaxy J7 duo) performs 4 times slower than a 4 core device made of a different brand. (both devices have similar clock speeds).

Note that both devices were brand new "virgin" devices with no apps installed on them.

Can somebody explain this difference

Any restrictions for automatic printing from email?

I need to have certain emails printed automatically as soon as they are received. Ideally onto a Bluetooth printer.

I've searched and searched. Nothing us available. ☹️

I want to try and get something developed myself. I'll work with a freelancer.

Just wanted to know, is there any restrictions that would stop automatic printing?
Like maybe security restrictions?
Ideally, I would like to print from Gmail app.

Otherwise, a standalone email app is fine as well.

Just wanted guidance before I spend time and effort.

Thanks.

Help Why is the Huawei P9 Plus only connecting at 72Mbps maximum on a 2.4GHz router?

I have a P9 Plus and was happy to hear that it would be getting Oreo...main reason being that the Marshmallow which it's still running seems to have some issues with the Wi-Fi. I don't know if it's the Wi-Fi antenna or the OS but I'm not getting the full speed. The Wi-Fi protocols are exactly the same as the Samsung Galaxy S5 yet the S5 connects to my 2.4G router at a max speed of 144Mbps while my P9 Plus connects at a maximum speed of 72Mbps. I purchased the P9 Plus brand new and another relative who purchased the P9 Plus as well from the same store during the same time as I connects to my router at the same 72Mbps. The S5 is two years old than the P9 Plus yet does a better job when it comes to Wi-Fi connectivity.

I read an article online the other day where some people said they connect at much higher speeds with their P9 Plus or P9 (same difference, same antenna) using a 2.4G router.

I have done a hard factory reset as well as cleared system cache but nothing seems to work. If anybody have any ideas please share them. It's annoying when I'm in my room and sometimes the connection drops to 1Mbps whereas my S5 drops to 77Mbps in that very same room which is 77 times greater than the speed of the P9 Plus!!!!!!

I really look forward to anyone who can shed some light on the matter.

Help Automating app launch to pull the birds!

I am hoping to automate the playing of an mp3 recording of bird calls twice a day to attract Swifts to some nest boxes. I have a small Duronics SPB2 Bluetooth speaker and an ageing Nexus 10 tablet to do this with. The only audio software on the tablet currently is the very basic ES Explorer audio player.

The idea is to leave the speaker on continuously, plugged in to the mains or a power pack, and have the Nexus' software play and pause the birdsong as needed.

I suspect that I'll need automation software and another more compliant player. I would be grateful for some software suggestions, preferably for something as simple to implement as possible! Of course, if you've actually done this, I'd love to hear your experiences and any 'hazard warnings' you may think I'll need!

Missing Pictures

Anyone have a fix for pictures disappearing and being replaced with a grey box with an exclamation mark in it?

I have been reviewing many posts online and in this forum and the issue goes back to at least the S7 series, but all of the answers I have found point to a corrupt SD card being the culprit. Problem is, I don't even have an SD card in the phone. Pics are being saved to the internal storage.
