[game][free] Rising Sushi - a one button arcade about stacking sushi with a giant claw crane

Z5LdUxu.png

Hello everyone. Recently I've released my second game for And, an arcade with one button controls where you have to build an endless tower of giant sushi pieces with a claw crane.

The player must place the pieces in the right sequence, take and remember orders to assemble the correct combinations of sushi to earn extra points, and master the sushi cannon, a fever mode you activate getting consecutive perfect drops that is played like a shooter mini game.

The game's look is inspired by classic woodblock printings, and uses hand-made animations as transition between the menu and the different parts of the game.

If anyone is curious and try it, all feedback is really appreciated.

Help Need recommendations for Wi-Fi calling phone

I'm an old guy living in a rural area where cell phone coverage is really poor. I'd like to buy a used smartphone that's capable of WiFi calling. I can't afford much over $150. Is there such a phone?

I'm currently without a phone but when I had one it was an unlocked Moto G7 which I used on US Mobile, which uses the Verizon network, which has lousy coverage here but seems to be better than any of the other carriers.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Apps Can I change sensor delay by changing Android OS code and recompiling

Hi there, I have a requirement to get a faster barometer update rate on a phone (S10) or really any device with a barometer, and I'm wanting to know I can I do that by changing the Android code.

BACKGROUND:
Ive used sensorManager.registerListener() to toggle through all the preset delays (SENSOR_DELAY_NORMAL etc..) and have even tried typing in my own delay in us.

I think the issue is that chip is limited somehow in the Android OS, as I when I get the chip data from debugger:

{Sensor name="LPS22HH Barometer", vendor="STMicro", version=514, type=6, maxRange=1260.0, resolution=2.0E-4, power=0.275, minDelay=40000}

I see the minDelay is 40,000us which is about the limit I currently get, around 25 Hz.

If I look at the LPS22HH chip spec sheet I see its capable of supplying a much faster update rate.

THE QUESTION:

If I learn how to recompile the Android OS, can I configure the registers on the chip to get a faster update rate?

OTHER CONCERNS:
- Ramp on learning how to compile the Android OS.
- Some other aspect of the Android OS that may be limiting the update rate that I will have zippo control over OS recompile or not.

Thanks for any response!

Help My Samsung Galaxy S7 decrypted the sd card by itself

My phone was out of power and was shutting down. It shut down and when I turned the phone back on again I noticed that something was wrong. Some files were not readable. I noticed that it was the SD cards storage that didn't work, so I checked the "Encrypt SD card" option in settings and found that the SD card is "not encrypted", which it is, it is encrypted but my phone won't recognize it.

I haven't done a factory reset or rooted it, haven't done anything that changes my phone, but the files for the time being are unreadable. I haven't updated my phone in a good while. I have managed to backup SD card, as I can see the files on my computer and on the phone itself, but the files can't be read. I have tried to restart the phone without the SD card then putting it back in again but have been unable to regain access. Any ideas on how to fix this? Or is it impossible to fix?

Help Regarding problems with downloading apps from the galaxy store

I got a new Galaxy M40 today (I am posting on this forum since M40 is not showing up in the dropdown menu on my browser) and when I tried to install something as simple as twitter, it got installed but then unless I update it from the Play store it's not letting me access it. It's saying that the app is not of the latest version which in my opinion is bollocks, for there's no reason the Samsung app store should be hosting outdated apps. I don't want to enter play store because I don't trust Google. Please help. I am attaching the screenshot of what I said at the beginning.

Samsung s20+ no incoming call when in a call

Hi guys i am having some issues with my phone calls, the problem is that when I am on the phone to somebody on an active call and somebody else try to ring me it tells them my phone is currently unavailable, and while I'm on the call it wont show a call inconing and give me an option to accept or decline so I know they have phoned me or even leave a missed call notification how can I solve this issue

How can I stop unwanted refreshing?

This is driving me nuts! At seemingly random intervals, my display refreshes, and when it does it causes problems with apps I'm using.

For example, file managers that are opened to various locations, both local [device] and remote [networked drives], reset to their start-up locations when this refresh happens.

There's no way to know when it will happen next; it could be five minutes or five hours or 25 hours.

I've tried adjusting/disabling/tweaking all sorts of settings--everything from Bluetooth scanning to apps running in background, from battery optimization to memory usage...but I can't stop this damned refreshing. On Linux proper, I could probably control this, but Android's settings are much more limited.

Will be very grateful for any ideas that lead to a solution. If more info's needed, just ask.

Moto Z² Force Edition, Oreo 8.0.0, not rooted.

ETA: Now happening too on a brand-spanking new Motorola One Hyper, Android 10, not rooted, tons of free space and memory [though those were never the issue on the other phone].

Samsung Galaxy S20 Screen Retention or Burn-In?

I've had my phone for about two months now and while I really like the device I have recently noticed (and driving myself nuts lol) what looks to be screen burn in or what I've read could also be image retention. These are images on the keyboard after being up for about 60 seconds. It does fade back to normal but I'd just like some feedback from anyone who's aware of this happening or maybe experience the same thing. That final image is my device back to normal after only a few seconds. Not sure what to make of this.

Unable to print to network printer.

Hi, I have a Samsung SM-337AZ that is unable to print to a network printer.

Before I get into all of the details of what went on I do want to say that when I used the "PrinterShare Mobile Print" app that I was able to send a test page from my phone to the printer and it printed out, so I know that there is a way that this will work, but in order to do any real printing the app requires that you pay for the updated version which (for reasons that I don't want to get into) I refuse to do.

So anyway... the printer is an old "HP LaserJet 4000T" the internal Jet Direct card is dead (a new one is on order) so I have one of those old "Netgear PS101" print server interfaces plugged into the Parallel Port on the back of the printer, I assigned it a static IP in the network router so that it won't drift to another IP if the router is ever rebooted.

The printer is pingable from a Windows laptop and I was able to send it a test page that printed out.

But on my Android phone I have tried using the default printing app, the HP printing app, and the Samsung printing app, to set up a TCP/IP port on the IP address of the printer but they all give an error that they are unable to connect to the printer.

But I am able to open up Chrome and get to the web interface of the print server on the same IP address so the phone does actually have a valid network path to get there at least on "Port 80", which makes me wonder ... what TCP/IP port do Android phones use to print with?

And I ask that because this print server is from the early 2000's and is probably still setup on whatever TCP/IP print port was used back then.

And I think my final question is... besides the previously mentioned "PrinterShare Mobile Print" app does anyone know of a free app that could be used instead to make this work that doesn't require you to pay anything to make it work?

A Wearable?

I am interested in a smartwatch that will work with my phone (Samsung Galaxy s9 plus) that will track steps and sleep. But most importantly will allow me to respond to messages from the KiK app. I believe it would connect through bluetooth to do this.

The Galaxy watch or active 2 watch I think will do this but I'm not sure. The Fitbit Versa 2 will only allow preset messages.

Any other options? What should I know?

In the end, I want to be able answer KiK messages from my watch so I dont have my phone out at work.

Thank you.

Hi all,

Apologies in advanced for another “what does this icon mean” post. I’ve searched through a lot of posts to hopefully find someone else looking for the same one but alas...no dice.

Long story short i started dating someone a few months ago and when she sends me screenshots...this icon is pretty much always in the top corner.

I know how this looks. It’s not an excuse but I’ve literally spent the last 2 years going through a divorce and I don’t want another headache. I’ve searched everywhere but can’t seem to find it.
