Suddenly my video on my camera is making all kinds of sound effects on my Galaxy S10 e how do I turn all that sound off?

It's an Element 43" and it works pretty well. The only thing is how to hook it up to the LG X Charge. There is a USB port on the back but when it's plugged in there it still shows "0" device(s). Should we use Bluetooth instead, and how would we do that?

Hi folks

I have a storage issue now with my Moto G4 which is running out of space. My internal storage shows 5.2 GB of Music and Audio but the folder is empty! I am trying to create some storage space without deleting any apps if possible. I did have Amazon Music app on my phone but it was stored on my SD card but I have now uninstalled that along with all the music files. Why does the Storage show 5.2 GB when the folder is empty? My phone is running Andriod 8.1 I realise that 16 GB drive is small now but I don't want to buy a new phone just yet.

Any help would be gratefully relieved

I'm new to Android development and am cramming info, but I've inherited a project that is now (after updating Android Studio and the project) failing the de-linter with an error saying that a method on a control can "only be called from within the same library group prefix."

The method in question is MenuItemImpl.setExclusiveCheckable, and the error says it can only be called from "within the same library group prefix." It goes on to say:

referenced groupId=androidx.appcompat with prefix androidx from groupId=[my application] [RestrictedApi]

What does this mean? Is this a deprecated API call?

I'm having some problem with my S20 phone. I always get the error when I download the game One Punch Man The strongest. Every time I download it, I get an error message. Does anyone know what my problem is? and tell me how to fix that problem.

So, I have a Galaxy S6 with a locked phone set to Verizon and a Verizon unlimited plan. I had the phone connected to the computer via USB hub and I was tethered. I am using SCRCPY-nonconsole to view video on the phone itself while surfing on the computer through/into/on basic pages like ebay and such. I went through my 30gb of tethered data in 7 days. It seems that Verizon counted ALL data (phone video and computer basic web page surfing) as tethered, since I was tethered when only using a minimum of actual computer shared data. I am calling utter BS on this one. I dont care how technical one wants to get, the downloaded data was NOT going directly to the computer, hence, THAT part wasnt tethered data.

Is there any phone I can use to separate the 2?

Also, when I was mirroring the video, I had the phones web browser running 720dpi setting and on my computer screen it was still pixelated. I assume my S6 cannot transfer 720dpi through the USB. With that said, Whats the next cheapest droid that can do that?

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy A8, running Android 9. Now recently, for some unknown reason, the Google app has started misbehaving. It's eating the majority of the CPU cycles and the battery life. Over the course of last week, it's used 1h 18m in active use, but it's used up 3d 18h in background use! It's been the biggest power hog among all of the apps. I've got it set to be put to sleep when not in use, but it's still using up all of these CPU cycles. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I think the problems started after a recent Android security update, the May 1st, 2020 security patch level. Even though the security patch says "May 1st", it actually just came to my system last week. Is there any known issues with this security patch, or any known issues about the Google app right now?

Installation date: Mar 15 2019.

i baught a tablet from WalMart then found out was blocked from using Google Play 〔i think a geek told me every app or its patch or its O.S. is obselete〕it was in the in their marked-down area like where the stuff is in a bin or open cage, so i couldn't return it for because of any
warranty.
i took it to a geek after their return purchase period then found out about it.
it's pre-owned, can i “root” it? can i tell if it was rooted before WalMart took it back?

I have this old MediaPad 10 FHD which I decided to upgrade its OS from KitKat to Nougat. I took root access by Kingo Root and then Install TWRP Official. I looked up the net for TWRP file for MediaPad online and Flashed it. When I turned it off to boot for Recovery it hung up to Huawei Logo and it does not go any further, and it doesn't turn off either unless runs out of battery. What I've tried so far:

- I tried every combination said online for hard resting (Power+Volume Up, Power+Volume Down, Power+Middle Volume) but none of them brought me recovery mode.
- I tried boot from SD Card, downloaded latest Firmware for MediaPad, format my SD in FAT32 and copied dload folder to the root. I tried many times to boot from SD card. It didn't work either.
- I also tried the boot image here and created it using this, but booting from this image didn't work either.

My questions:

1. What should I do which I haven't done?
2. What needle hole on top of the tablet? Can it help?
3. Can I hard reset this device by dismantling and hitting some magic button inside?

I've had this issue a couple times in the past, where I was able to resolve it with a forced restart. This time, the issue has persisted.
My phone will shut off and only respond--after a slight delay-- with the overheat thermometer symbol when I plug it it. I've done the manual restart two or three times now, (and that itself only works sporadically) but it gave me the overheat warning again and shut itself down, despite being quite cool to the touch. I even put it in a container of rice overnight to see if there was a humidity-related problem bugging the heat censor, but to no effect.

This all began out of nowhere. Is there anything else I can do?

EDIT: As I wrote in the title, this is a FALSE overheat warning. The phone was not warm to the touch, and not processing anything at all--it shuts off even with no apps running.

JULY EDIT: Force Rebooting to Safe Mode worked at first, but now the problem is back and worse than ever. For a couple days my phone would only power on if it was plugged it in (despite already being at full charge,) and then two days ago it just stopped responding entirely other than with the red thermometer symbol when I plug it in. At one point I tried to get it to force restart into safe mode, but it cut off part way through the restart.

When I was eventually able to boot it to safe mode this morning, it still gave me the heat warning and powered down. The phone is NOT physically warm, but seems beyond convinced that it is. There were no apps running. Clearing the cache from the manual reboot screen did nothing.

I understand other A20 users have this false overheat problem--but is it a software issue or a hardware one? This phone is so absurdly expensive to service, if I cant fix it myself, its gone. All I want now is for my phone to stay on long enough to back up, but even opening the "settings" menu seems like too much for it.

Could a phone update remove my call logs or has something else happened to my phone?

Either way, what's the best way to recover those logs or are they gone forever?

I did toothpick/AV hole RESET to wipe data/factory and still NFG . . . "ANDROID" screen!

Any comment or advice (other than BRICK, alreadt thought of that one) would be appreciated.

From the Internet, you want to share an article via a text message. When you select share and choose a contact a pop up comes and gives the choice of "once or default" (or something close to that) for choosing a phone number. Normally I choose once but I accidentally chose default. Now it does not give me the option to choose "once or default". Short of doing a factory reset, how can I go back to giving me the choice of "once or default"?

I cannot take photos, cannot save posts from FaceBook Light. Some apps constantly crash, for example Revolut like on the video but also many many more.

What to do, why does it have to be like that? Should I format my phone? Will it help?
