2) Can the text message background and bubbles" be customized? I can't find it in my settings. My only options are white and black, but I want to use a personal photo as the text message background.

3) How do I enable swipe texting?

Found a way to swipe over and it would bring up this little sqaure pop up menu that has brightness, volume, play, pause etc controls. Im not talking about the one in the tips and tricks videos where it brings up apps, tools, etc. Factory reset my phone and can't find it.

My girlfriend actually sent me a screen shot of his home screen and I suddenly noticed this heart shaped icon. I tried to search it out online to see what it is but couldn't find it. Now,I know i am being extra paranoid but it can either be a health app or a dating app but i wanted to know the bake of the app anyhow. How is it possible?

It would be very helpful if anyone could give me a hint of the name of the app.

I am having trouble with my port charging so I decided to buy a wireless charger.

The first one was a Belkin Boost and it didn't work at all. Returned that one and purchased the Belkin BoostUp 10w. It worked for one second then didn't at all.

Funny thing is, when I turned the phone off and placed it on the charger, the phone turned on and charged for a second then stopped.

Does anyone have any ideas? Getting ahold of LG is almost impossible and I am running out of juice!

Does anyone know of an app where you can push a button on one device and make another networked Android device play a sound?

I was wondering if anyone has Successfully unlocked the bootloader, and rooted thw Stylo 4 LmQ710ts by tmobile. I havent been able to find a way and know last year nobody else had either. I was wondering if anyone could help me out

After the last update (maybe earlier, I don't know), I've had a problem placing calls. Every time I place a call and immediately after hitting the CALL button, I tap the SPEAKER button so I can hear the call without putting the phone to my ear. Especially if I know there will be a menu I have to navigate to get anything done.

The call goes to the speaker but as soon as the call connects on the distant end and it starts ringing, my phone hijacks the call back to the earlpiece! Every single time! So I have to wait, hear the faint ringing tone in the earpiece, and tap SPEAKER again to get it back!

Is anyone else here experiencing this issue? Have you figured out a fix for it?

I am back again. yesterday I was talking here about how to use Google Map on my P40 Pro.
today I found my alternative solution for the Google Map -- Here Wego.
I must to see from the general function of a Map, Here Wego is at least equals to Google map, the acuracy of timing and route is very clear.
only thing is Here Wego needs the users to get more data and reviews to make it more socialable for everyone.

and, the question is: the reason we used something, is because we like it or we got used to it?

My fiancee has an A8 and we are close to upgrading, but her memory was running low so she decided to go into phone clean up mode just to get us to the upgrade.

She normally just deletes old photos (I have tried explaining the cloud to her, but not yet...) but this time she found herself in the files section of the phone. She deleted something in the files that then deleted all her photos. Now, when we go to trash as she normally would to restore those photos, it shows 1300+ photos and 8 vids are in the trash, but they are all greyed out with an i button. When we click restore, it says they were successfully restored but are nowhere to be found.

I suspect what is happening is she deleted a folder, and when we restore the photos they disappear because that folder path cannot be found anymore? Any thoughts?

Hi. When I get a call from an unrecognized number on my Note 8 I let it go to voicemail. However, the phone rings about six or seven times before voicemail grabs it. That's way too long. I'd much rather four rings but, for the life of me, I cannot find a setting to adjust that. I've searched under Voicemail Settings, Sounds, Advanced Features, General Management, all to no avail.

Any thoughts?

Someone asked how to change the default download path on android. They can use google chrome browser, at the top right tap on the 3 dots. Then tap on Settings. Scroll down and tap on Download. You should be able to specify the new download location.

When I go into the google player app on my phone all my albums are there, but when I go to the Files app and look for them in the Artists file, I cant find some of them. Any idea why or where they are located? I see all the other stuff thats in that artists file.....

A question on using whatsapp in a used phone. If John bought a used phone, before John got that phone, that previous owner using the phone was using sim card mobile number 67896789 has whatsapp installed and had chat history, after the previous owner sold the phone he bought a new phone and used the same number 67896789 on his new phone whatsapp and restored chat backup into his new phone.

The used phone was not formatted and whatsapp icon is seen in the phone, when John got the phone he inserted his sim card 23452345 and just pressed the whatsapp button (screenshot of screen that appeared after pressing whatsapp https://i.imgur.com/W36ATNa.png ) and followed the whatsapp screen steps to install. John did not restore any whatsapp chat during installation and it was his first time using whatsapp. After completing whatsapp installation steps is it possible that John will see the whatsapp chat of the previous owner 67896789 appearing in the chat history (if previous owner did not delete anything on the used phone)?

I got my new Galaxy S10 SM-G937F mobile phone yesterday which I set up and transfer the data over withiy any problems arising. Whilst checking everything I came across this oddity.

Just recently I had my Three mobile number hacked and ported to Vodafone. Three gave me a new SIM and a temporary number while they ported my original number back from Vodafone. Only a few days ago I got my original number back plus 1 £20 bonus because of all the problems..

When I go to Settings/Connections/SIM Card Manager I see that:

SIM 1 is described as Three Mobile, LTE/3G/2G with the mobile number shown as my temporary mobile number. (As it should be apart from the incorrect number)

SIM 2 is shown as blank (As it should be).

The SIM 1 in my mobile works correctly with calls, messages and the internet using my old number.

With wifi turned off texts and calls work OK using the correct, original number and I can use the internet OK

Why is the incorrect temporary number shown and does it matter.

Normally I would have asked Three but recently they have been almost completely out of touch. I am still trying.

I have set up my first smartphone (I am elderly) and have mastered phoning and sending and receiving SMS (is that texts?)

Yesterday someone sent me a text which said MMS and there was a photo attached somewhere but....I an't seem to find it to open it up!

I looked in my apps which came with the phone an one was called 'file manager' but it is totally empty as I have not transferred anything to it from my laptop yet. There is no app that says anything like 'photos' so perhaps that is the problem?

Do I have to download a special app to allow me to see photos sent to me by text - I am confused! Pls advise in simple terms what I need to do.

Hello, I have a problem. I was using phone B with sim card number 12345678 with whatsapp installed before aug year 2019, In aug 2019 I changed to use phone A with sim card number 12345678 and left phone B unused.

Today I got a new sim card number 24682468 and I decided to use it in phone B. In phone B I just installed whatsapp using sim card number 24682468, after installing whatsapp, I saw whatsapp chat history of phone B with sim card number 12345678, chat history was until aug 2019 which was until the time I changed to use phone A with sim card number 12345678 and left phone B unused.

In phone A, I have a sim card number 12345678 and already using whatsapp working fine that I did not want to have any changes, android phone using google account example@gmail.com

Now in phone B, I have a sim card number 24682468 and I wanted to install whatsapp that is not linked to phone A. In phone B I accidentally login to the same google account example@gmail.com before installing the whatsapp and I installed whatsapp and now whatsapp inside 24682468 phone B, I see the Phone B chat history stopped at aug 2019 (not the complete of Phone A chat history which included 2020 to today chat). I see the Phone B chat history stopped at aug 2019 which was at that time I left phone B unused.

Now phone A with sim card number 12345678 shows the complete chat history. Phone B with 24682468 shows the chat history of sim card number 12345678 before aug 2019.

I want phone A and phone B to be completely separate with different whatsapp. Phone B should not show chat history of sim card number 12345678. Now in phone A whatsapp three dots>settings>I click on my profile it shows phone number 12345678, in phone B whatsapp three dots>settings>I click on my profile it shows phone number 24682468
