1. I have a Moto G6.
2. I created a group names RCLASS in contacts.
3. I would like to send a text to everyone in RCLASS at the same time. I send one message and it goes to all 7 members of RCLASS.
4. What do I type? I bring up Messages, I type Start Chat. -- WHAT DO I ENTER UNDER To: How do I reference RCLASS?

Well Google has done made me want to be assertive so I'm going to go ahead and rave about privacy for a minute. Today Google Play Store sent me a message saying my app is being rejected because the privacy policy on my website wasn't explicit enough. I've uploaded that app 5+ times without much issue in the past. So I updated my privacy policy I'll include a link at the end of this post but before I do so I want to explain something about programming and privacy. This is pretty simple and I'm calling the internet out on it.
1) I can completely program without collecting so much as a username or password. The only thing I need to identify on the internet is a computer/machine IP address / mac address and maybe a time stamp which is always available unless your computer isn't attached to the internet. Sure you can route the IP address all over the world first for security reasons but I still get a useable IP address if you connect to the internet. I just might not be able to track it to the source machine easily.
2) There really is no need to store any personal information to provide you non-customized information (pictures, text, audio etc.)
3) The only thing any company should be concerned with is what "computer" is sending the information. The only reason they need to know who or what is sitting between the seat and the keyboard is so they can either hold you accountable for the information sent, customize the content for you or target you with customized ads. just to name a few of the popular reasons to be collecting personal information. For as long as the internet has been public these companies have been collecting personal information and I still only occasionally see an ad that interests me. Definitely, the data they have collected isn't serving much of a purpose other than maybe to make a few geniuses on advertising campaigns. Don't get me started on dis-information. I could debate this subject for years to come. LOL
4) I don't need your personal information at all to write you useful software. Take care and all your data is belong to you when you visit Calm Chess Computers

I just found, to my utter amazement, that Gmail has kept on its server everything ever sent or received from my account--but it shouldn't have.

Other than Google, no one knows my Gmail address. I don't use its app or web UI. Its mail, like all my other e-mail accounts, is handled by my default mail client, SeaMonkey, on my main computer. The only Gmail it receives is somehow related to Google, e.g., receipts for Play Store purchases and, before it died, notices from G+ groups I was in. The only mail sent from it is on-the-fly notes to myself from this phone.

Its account settings in SeaMonkey are the same as with all my other addresses: 'leave messages on server' is, and always has been, UNCHECKED. But unlike all my other accounts, these have remained on their server.

It was kind of fun scrolling down a decade's worth of memory lane just now, as I painfully, slowly--because I found no 'one fell swoop' method--deleted it all.

How did I find out about this since I never use it? While scrutinizing G's settings, as I do periodically, I noticed that GM was using 1GB of space. WTF?! Now I know why.

Since my mail client is already correctly configured NOT to leave its messages on the server--but that doesn't work--what can I do? Wait another 10 years and painstakingly delete a million messages again?

Have new Moto E5 Play with Android 8.0 connected to ATT.
I tried to add my hotmail web email to phone but cannot find the icon to launch it
I added the account as imap and it appeared to add OK but - no icon anywhere on my phone. Then I launched the gmail icon and then clicked its menu hamburger and I can see that both the gmail and hotmail accounts are "there" - but again - no icon where I can launch my hotmail as I did on my previous cellphone.
How to fix?

just got my Huawei P40 Pro on hand, excited for about 1 day then got stucked when I was using Google Map.(dont ask me how I got google map app, I can only tell you phone clone is awesome. )

I lost all my locations setting and favorate places etc, however, I found out there is a video talking about this, solved part of the problems. hope it will useful for you as well.

I will consistently find out more information or tips on how to use this phone as the hardware is fabulious!

I have an LG Stylo 5 from Boost Mobile I've been trying to root but I can't figure it out. I've tried following tutorials but it never works, is it not possible or am I doing it wrong?


If it can't be rooted I'll just get a new phone but is there a list of phones you can root so I don't get the wrong one again?

I was a VERY proud owner of both the Pixel XL and the Pixel 2 XL. Best phones I ever had tbh.

Then the Pixel 3 came along with a Herman Munster sized forehead and I have it a hard pass, opting for the Galaxy Note 9 instead. Not a bad phone but my God did I miss the Pixel.

So I was hyped as hell for the Pixel 4, I really was. But then it just turned out to be a bit of a dud. Battery life as a big deal for me and I expect flagship models to have top of the range specs, the Pixel 4 could've been the Pixel 3a for all I knew. So again, gave it a pass and have been toying with the idea of upgrading to the S20 Ultra. But now given the economic climate and the fact I'm earning less money I have decided to stick with the Note 9, albeit a bit rough around the edges now to say the least.

So will the Pixel 5 redeem itself? I'm itching to get back on the bandwagon but won't compromise.
I need:
*Top class battery life
*Top class camera
*Top class screen
*A finger print reader (I can't stand this face recognition stuff)
*256gb entry on storage
*RAM, I would take a lesser amount than competitors with the expectation that Google can do a better job at operating their own software to the full extent
*I like the Galaxy DEX experience, it would be nice to have something similar that works effectively

What are your hopes?

I just read that AT&T just released Android 10 OTA for our phone. I'm pretty sure it's in Asia since the article was at:

But if it's started, we may get it within 2020. (But I wouldn't hold my breath) You never know. But be careful updating. I've heard from a programmer that it has some major changes that aren't compatible with some current apps and could cause major issuses.

Hi this kind of involves two devices I have the Pocophone F1 and 2016 Samsung Tab.

I would like a reliable way or app, to transfer files wirelessly from my phone to the Tablet, any suggestions thanks.

My phone (nokia 6.1 plus) is switching off automatically while using.It will switch on only when charger is connected even though battery shows above 90%.

Without the charger it gets repeatedly boot until the android logo appears.

Even though i am able to switch it on by connecting the charger and use it normally by disconnecting charger after booting ,it will again switch off when i play any media or start browsing .

I had also made a factory reset to the phone but it cannot solve the problem.

Can anyone help me regarding this issue?

Guys, my protrek is no longer tracking my steps and the tools are wonky. Specifically, the compass tool doesn't work or will only work if I spend like 30 minutes messing with settings and recalibrating etc.

I just rebooted the watch to factory settings 4 days ago which included the update to Wear OS and thought that fixed it but today I'm back to square one.

Can anyone with experience in this area give me some ideas?

Hi gurus

I have a 50G+ SD card (40% still free) which been working in a Samsung edge for years.
Recently I found I need a restart before I can write a file to it. And after restart then able to save file, however its data is corrupted.
Coping a mp3 file to it, even it appears, only part of it can be played.
Even after a while the file disappear from directory.

What is the probable cause? Could it be a bad contact. Or it need to be reformat. Or is there an app to check it?
