I have a Galaxy Tab S2 with an extra memory sd-card.
Quite a lot of the apps I have installed can be shifted to the sd-card but every now and then (I presume after updates) they get shifted back automaticaly to the main memory.
Is this normal and is there a way to keep them on the sd-card ?

If you watch a Gear360 video before the two fish-eye circle frames are stitched, you realize that it is easier and more enjoyable to watch the front and back views simultaneously rather than rotating the 360 sphere view that results from stitching. I would like to stitch ONLY the left edge of the one circle to the right edge of the right circle creating a flat video showing both front and rear views in the same frame.

I like to put my Gear360 on a selfie stick and walk through a scene. Merging the front and rear camera views of the Gear360 makes for a great way to give the viewer much more information than requiring him/her to rotate the scene in a 360 viewer.

I've set my removable SD card to be used as internal storage. Some apps still install to the "original" internal storage (and I get it, some apps do, thanks How-To Geek for explaining).

I'd like to move some of them to the SD card, as I'm already running out of space again and have barely made a dent in my list of apps that I had on the old phone. But I can't see how even though I think I should be able to. Help please.

Also, is it possible to force apps to install on the SD card, instead of installing and then moving (if even that's possible)?

My phone is a Moto G2 running Android 6.0.

I am looking for a Wifi manager app with the following requirements:
- ability to keep a file with a list of wifis along with their passwords
- upon start it should show a list of visible wifi networks and mark those of them that has match in the file by BSSID, not by name
- click on selected wifi in the list should establish a connection using the password stored in the file

My phone does not a ring when I receive email messages. It has always done so in the past .
I have checked ring volume. It is on maximum. I have checked the other ring device button on the right hand side of the phone and that is on full. The email just sent from the Android forum, just sent, has not set off the ring tone. How can it be fixed.? Please reply in step by step basic, non techy language. Do not assume I know anything! I do hear the ring tone when if I disable it or reset it to high again. It's just not working when messages come in.

Is there any possibility of connecting an Amazon Fire HD 10 to 4G through a USB modem? Android tablets need rooting (and a Google Play app). Thanks.

I have 2 Note 5s and a Tesla Model 3 with two 7.5 w USB ports into which I want to install a wireless phone charger which can charge both phones at the same time with 7.5 watts to each phone. Tesla also has two other 7.5 watt USB port which I can also connect to that same phone charger to deliver 15 watts per phone. My question is what is the maximum amount of wattage my Note 5s can' accept?

I just performed my weekly restart of my note 9, and now every minute or so I'm getting a message on the bottom of the screen saying "restart the application". It fades away after a few seconds and doesn't interfere with any actions, but I can already see this is going to be a huge annoyance! I've tried rebooting again, but it doesn't help, and obviously I have no idea what app I'm supposed to be restarting. Has anyone else has this issue or ideas for a fix? Thanks!

had ultra months ago now 11 promax as no updates then for ultra camera and going nack to ULTRA only if not still auto focus issue is bad otherwise the plus.
I need a large display and had a note 10 plus once and hoping the s20 plus isnt very small display and is NEAR the note 10 plus size.

I bought my phone directly from Google through a trade-in program about a year ago and set it up immediately with Verizon. This month, I tried to switch my phone line to T Mobile, but when I put in the new T-mobile SIM card, I get an error message saying "SIM card isn't supported. Ask Verizon if this device can be unlocked."

I've spoken to T Mobile, Verizon, and Google. Here is what each said:

T mobile: When they put out the request for Verizon to transfer my phone line, it should automatically unlock my phone. If it's not working, I should contact Verizon.

Verizon Agent #1: When you get the phone from Google and set it up with Verizon, Verizon then locks the phone (something about after x number of days). Directed me to another Verizon help line.

Verizon Agent #2: Verizon doesn't lock phones unless it has been reported missing/stolen or if there's a payment due. Since neither of those were true, the agent said I should contact the retailer I bought my phone from, which is the Google Store.

Google: Help agent tried a couple different solutions: Solution 1 - turn on Developer option to enable "OEM unlocking." When I tried this, the OEM unlock option was disabled/grayed out with the message "Unavailable on carrier-locked devices". Solution 2 - Factory reset. This didn't work. He finally told me to contact Verizon because my phone says it is "carrier-locked".

Before I pull my hair out talking to another agent, does anyone have any idea what is going on and how I can unlock my phone? Appreciate any help. Thanks!

I made the mistake of installing Weather Home app on my S7 edge and when I go to uninstall it, the uninstall button is grayed out and I can't uninstall it.

Additionally, a brand new bunch of bloatware apps (News, Market, Videos, Personalize, Games) invaded my phone and I can't find any way to get rid of them. They don't show up in Settings->Apps and when I hold them down, all I get is a menu with edit, widgets and app info options. How do I get rid of this crap and how can I prevent further invasions like it.

Ok I enter recovery mode to go to the fast boot menu and scroll to run graphics test (just installing a new screen) and it says error then flips to the no command screen. I don't believe this is the normal behavior. Can some one with more knowledge please help?

I recently bought oppo reno 2 phone. I set it up and I came across an issue with built in messages app. I open it up and it closes within a second or two. Does anybody else have the same problem or had in the past and know how to fix it? I did a hard reset, back to factory settings, but nothing helped. Started to think its a phone itself. The rest off the apps works fine. Any help will be much appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Accidently deleted the app drawer, now I can't find it or any apps (except that are loaded on pages). Swiping up from the bottom doesn't give me all apps. Can't figure this one out. TIA

Hello everyone,

I have an issue using my AVD with Android Studio. When I attempt to close the AVD clicking the little cross next to it, it causes my PC to crash/freeze. I have to wait for a few minutes, and during that time it's a complete freeze, I can't do anything. I tried ctrl+alt+suppr but it seems that my PC isn't able to compute my inputs during this freeze. Once it was so long I had to shut down my computer the hard way, holding the power button because the freeze was never-ending.

I joined the configuration of my AVD.
The configuration of my computer is :
I5 7600K, 16GB RAM, GTX1080
Windows, Android Studio, and the AVD are installed on a SSD.
My Android Project is on an HDD.

My English might not be perfect, it is my native language (did my best though).
